Nice try... Avoid!

Location is really good, five minutes walk from city center. The owner is a friendly guy, he is trying, even baked the pie for breakfast

The accomodation is some old flat, not in good shape, where every room is a separate facilty. One room has it's own bathroom but all others are shearing one. Maybe it is not a problem but it's good to know, I'm really not use to this kind of accomodation. I don't even know how to call it. Strange odour is present all the time, no fresh air. The kitchen is in bad shape.. My room was not clean, to say it this way. Some old furniture, damaged walls, windows and doors, small kitchenette like a try to build a studio. At the end, the bed sheets were not replaced after last visitor, there was hairs and stains on it. I don't want to imagine what is the situation with the pillows... And the price was not cheap at all. So, avoid if you have a chance.

I had a great time at this apartment in Novi Sad. The owner was super personable and helpful, taking time to orient me to the neighborhood and to share his recommendations for food and activities. He owns several units and he was very kind to upgrade me to a unit with really great air-conditioning since I was there during a heat wave and the unit was available. I was super grateful for that, and it made my stay much more comfortable. He also had a very safe storage option for my bicycle. All around great host, great location, great apartment.

Pleasant

Great location. Great place for a non smoker, as smoking was not allowed. Bedroom was clean. Security was good, I felt safe leaving valuables and as a female solo traveller I felt safe staying there. It felt like sharing the apartment which I did not expect. Both the host and his partner were friendly and welcoming though!

Both the bathroom and the kitchen could have been cleaner. Wi-Fi stopped working due to the storm, so it was a bit difficult to plan the next part of my trip. Sometimes I could borrow Wi-Fi from the host partner which I really appreciated.

Super cozy stay and we love Giorgio

Giorgio was an amazing host, ready to stay up late to welcome us in his small but very charming B&B. we got great recommendations for our travels and delicious breakfast (homemade French toast). we would definitely come back!!

We loved the two little cats - but maybe that could be a downside if you are allergic or don’t like them.

The best host and one the best human beings we have come across our travel

Sooo many things to like but cant be mentioned in brief. Definitely the best B&B we have stayed at. Djordje is one of the coolest persons I have met. He gave us detailed information about the town. We had such great conversations about our trips and he was so excited to tell us about his trip to our India. He showed me how to cook a Pie and hisnfriend and he made us one of the most delicious breakfast ever. While leaving Djordje also gave us a bottle of homemade jam and dried figs, that is so sweet. He is a great human and we will definitely keep in touch with him.

Welcoming neightbour that did her best to present the apartment.

On booking it is only stated that we are sharing bathroom and not the whole apartment. Kitchen, living room and bathroom is what you will be sharing in case you choose this location and the other two rooms are also being rented out. Very small apartment for 6 guests.

Aside from the great location and comfortable stay, what really stood out in Girasole was the friendliness of Djordje, who is always extremely helpful, cooks amazing Burek for breakfast and has a hilarious sense of humor. We really enjoyed the stay, thanks a bunch!

Good opportunity to see and feel what typical yugoslavian flat looks like. Quiet location not in historical center, but very close to it. Friendly property owner helped us with everything we need, including calling a taxi to a train station. Tasty breakfast.

Late night stop

This place is within walking distance of the fortress and the market. A short walk to the river. The room, bed and pillow were very comfortable. We had a warm welcome from our host and had a fantastic breakfast.
