Fantastic location and apartment

Fantastic location close to the V&A waterfront. Excellent accommodation and security. Trust, who manages reservations, was always quick to respond to questions via email and she arranged a taxi transfer from the airport to the apartment which was a straightforward process. Check in was an interesting process where your photo is taken and allocated to a security key fob. Security is top notch. Ubers are great value. Loads of attractions to experience: Cape.of Good Hope, penguins, wine trams and vineyard visits, Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was held. Loads of restaurant close to hand.

There was no clear communication regarding the check in procedure which made it difficult to find the place and then once we had arrived a few pertinent points like which floor to take to get out the building etc were not explained and the most frustrating was one of our key fobs did not work and we had to take it back to security 4 times ….

A truly exceptional stay — comfort, elegance and peace.

My stay at Mountain Marina Luxury Apartments exceeded all expectations from the very first moment. Upon entering the apartment, I was immediately struck by the feeling of freshness, cleanliness, and the high standard of interior design. The apartment is beautifully maintained and fully equipped — comfortable furniture, modern appliances, quality kitchenware and cutlery — everything needed for a truly comfortable and independent stay. The atmosphere combines elegance, coziness, and a sense of understated luxury. The balcony deserves special mention: a stunning view over the Marina canal, peaceful water, and a feeling of calm that is hard to put into words. The location is outstanding. Direct access to the V&A Waterfront allows for safe and enjoyable walks at any time of day or night. During my journey through the Western Cape, I stayed in several hotels and accommodations, and Mountain Marina was, without question, the best of them all. Thank you for this wonderful experience. I truly enjoyed staying here and would be very happy to return in the future.

The only downside was that time passed far too quickly — I would have loved to stay longer.

The location of this apartment meant that no car was required as we could walk to the waterfront very easily. The view over the marina was stunning. The apartment was spacious and had a lovely terrace, perfect for a sundowner.

Cape Town is a beautiful city enhanced by the waterfront and this properties relative position.

The staff and level of service was excellent. That said we had to ask numerous times for the room to be serviced. Anthony Gapare was very helpful. Location excellent. Quiet and very secure development.

Fantastic location very close to Waterfront. Super comfy beds and great showers. Lovely view and easy parking.

A very comfortable stay in a great location

A very comfortable 2BR apartment in a great location at the heart of the V&A Marina with a short walk to the Waterfront. The apartment was clean and beds comfortable. It had a very nice balcony overlooking the canal.

There was not much to not like other than the kitchen ware is quite basic and could be refreshed with some new dining plates, etc. Overall a nice apartment for up to 4 people.

The electronic passes - frustratingly unreliable and wasted time trying to sort them. Locked out after 11pm and security struggling to find on their system. Get these fixed and it would be perfect.

Nice place, great location.

In Oct 2025 we stayed in the Mountain Marina Luxury Apartments, specifically, Almore 305. While we liked this apartment, we found it quite difficult to find as the stated address on W Quay street is not where it is!! Rather, it is on Dock Street. This whole complex was extremely secure and featured underground parking, pools, and a restaurant on the premises. The security guards were friendly and helpful. This one bedroom, two bath apartment had a spacious living room with full windows to the large porch (be aware there might be window washers outside), an adequate kitchen, and a little patio off the bedroom. We were thankful for the in-apartment laundry as our luggage didn’t arrive during our stay. We felt this was very convenient to the V&A waterfront and its shops, restaurants and such.

The apartment was lovely, very clean, comfortable and uncluttered. It was amazing in fact. Everyone we met was really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this to anyone. So pleased we went for an apartment instead of staying in hotel rooms as the shared space was a real boon.

It's difficult to find anything to say. The dishwasher had a bit of an odour, but did the job and cleaned the dishes.
