I’m now trying to figure out how to go back!

Fantastic location, with a stunning view down the lake. Friendly staff and excellent food. It was the perfect location for us while I was taking part in the Xterra World Championships.

There were no incidents, but being a little paranoid about the security of my bikes, it would be more comforting if the bike storage area was a bit more secure!

Nice but be careful as the 1st floor does not really have a lake view as the balcony is very large and blocks out the view. It would seem priority is given to those staying for longer periods

Bright modern hotel with free parking and the best view of lake Molvno

We loved Hotel Fontanella & we lived Molveno. What a warm friendly welcome from all the staff. It’s set on the edge of town with, I think, the best view of the lake. We took a double room with balcony and it was worth it to sit and watch the lake and look out then mountains and the town. The room was modern warm and quiet with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Breakfast was great and they made us some delicious vegan food for dinner. ( even though it’s not a vegan restaurant) Free on site parking and table tennis and table football. You can walk everywhere in Molveno from the hotel. We had a great day on the lake and another great day taking the cable car and chair lift up the mountain and going for a hike. I’d be happy to stay for a whole week.

Great service, superb staff and very comfortable stay

Superb service, great staff who was always there when you needed them. They have tried to accomodate every request we had. Dinners were really good, a good mix of food options. Breakfast was also nice, albeit somewhat limited options of food. Location is also good, close to the lake in case you like to take walks. What was a really a nice surprise is the shuttle bus, that takes you to Andalo ski slopes during the entire day. The driver Adriano was always there when you needed a lift.

The rooms are somewhat small, and would be nice if they had coffee machine and cattle for water boiling.

The staff was extremely nice and available. The room was clean and tidy, even the balcony was really clean. Breakfast was also good with a lot of different options.

Great location and it’s really worth to get a room with a lake view. The atmosphere in the hotel is very friendly and the dinner is absolutely unique experience!

I would appreciate English speaking staff in the restaurant but even with some language difficulties we felt very welcome.

Good

Good breakfast, very nice location, clean room and the view to the lake is really beautiful. Staff was friendly - everybody else than one younger, dark haired waiter in the restaurant, who was really unfriendly and arrogant. He seems to dislike all non-Italians.

The food in the restaurant was bad. It is a 5-meal dinner, where every portion is like a normal dinner and would be enough. It consisted of deep fried onions as starters, salad, soup or lasagne, meat with bacon, deep fried potatoes and buttery beans. As a dessert we had cream cake. It was just everything way too much and too fatty. Tasted either bad, only fat or was cold. There is another evening menu for Italians and this truck-driver menu for all other nationalities. The Italian menu looked really good and after having the truck driver menu for dinner, we asked if we could have the other menu the next day and got a very clear indirect “no” 😅 So we never ate there again and instead drove 15 km to the next open restaurant (off-season). Also the rooms are a lot smaller than in the pictures. We booked the deluxe room with sea view and got a room which was so small that you didn’t have place to move when two people were both inside. The pictures are made with a fish-eye objective making them look lot wider and bigger.

Views for days

The view from the balcony was just breath taking something I would never tire of. There wasn’t much open (not the hotels fault) but the hotel staff were happy to make us some food even though we were pretty late back.

Vriendelijke mensen, schoon hotel en hotelkamer, heerlijk lokaal eten, mooie locatie aan Lago di Molveno. Heerlijk balkon op het zuiden. Goede badkamer met regen- en handdouche. Ze houden goed rekening met een glutenvrij dieet. Top eigen skibus service. Zou ook een goed 4-sterren hotel kunnen zijn.

Geen privacy op je balkon, zo mooi als je naar buiten kijkt, zo open kijkt men op je balkon.

Ottima la posizione dell'hotel per chi desidera andare a sciare ma anche per chi vuole rilassarsi con un panorama fantastico sul lago di Molveno. Consigliatissime la cena e la colazione in hotel perché davvero di alta qualità e curato tutto nei minimi dettagli! Complimenti a tutto lo staff!

Un posto veramente bellissimo, situato fronte lago con una vista stupenda! Lo staff molto cordiale, soprattutto il cameriere in sala che ci ha accolti e serviti con grande simpatia e gentilezza! Camera impeccabile e molto bella, pulitissima e confortevole ! Ci torneremo sicuramente !

Ottima la posizione x visitare località vicine ......la vista dalla camera eccezionale paesaggio incantevole....Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante dell'hotel x due sere cucina Top! Consigliatissimo!
