I would recommend this place to anyone -it was convenient friendly -idyllic.

The owner Gerard was most welcoming, very friendly and knowledgable. He even supplied us with a welcome pack of local produce - Honey, Jam, bread, wine and beer. The property itself was superb , very well maintained decorated in glorious French style . The grounds surrounding the property was vast and well kept . The pool was large and cleaned everyday, with plenty of furniture to lie on. The property was located about 1.5 miles from the town which was very picturesque, with ample family run bars shops and restaurants. There was also a vast market twice a week. The area was full of possible activities and plenty of delightful villages within about 1/2 hour We had a terrific time here

A much needed break which lived up to all my expectations.

The location was perfect for me. A beautiful and tranquil setting close nough to visit the town but far away enough to be an oasis of calm. A typical French country house - full of charm, with a kind host.

I liked everything. It would have been good to be able to have supper provided as I did not have a car so could not go out to eat in the evenings.

Amazing property and hospitality

It’s an amazing property with a beautiful green park all around, very quiet and close to all the villages around. Our room was very big, very well decorated in tasteful rustic french style . The whole property is very well kept and decorated in style, there is parking on site and big swimming pool. Gerard the owner is really friendly, kind and helpful. Really recommending this place!

Tranquil location, kind host

The room, situated in a charming old building, was very spacious and nicely furnished with a separate bathroom with both bath and shower. The host was very welcoming and also dog-friendly. Breakfast in the shady courtyard was simple but good quality coffee, fresh orange juice and viennoiseries. The location of the property is a few minutes drive out of town and very calm and quiet. The host provides masks and disinfecting gel in the rooms and provides for social distancing at breakfast.

I could not get wifi during my stay. It may not be a problem in cooler months, but in August I found the lack of air conditioning difficult, especially as it wasn't possible to leave the windows open at night because of mosquitos. However, a portable fan was provided in the room.

Exceptional

Gerard was an amazing host. Beautiful accommodation with lovely pool area. Breakfast was delicious, especially the “eggs over easy”, which has now become Gerard’s speciality. Location was perfect to explore the area from. Would be back and very highly recommend. We fell in love with Inez, the dog of the house.

Would recommend a few more fans in the toom during the height if summer.

Es waren wunderschöne Tage in dieser außergewöhnlichen Unterkunft.... Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir überrascht mit einer Schale Obst, Wein, Wasser usw.und einigen Lebensmitteln fürs Frühstück am nächsten Tag. Die Ruhe in diesem weitläufigen Garten und der sehr saubere, große Swimmingpool! So etwas findet man denke ich sehr selten... Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder. Charmante Ruhe an einem tollen Ort mit einem hervorragenden Gastgeber

Ein Erlebnis mit besonders viel Charme. Der Garten ist weitläufig, zu jeder Tageszeit findet man Schatten, wenn man möchte. Gérard ist ein großartiger, zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der jederzeit für seine Gäste da ist und sich auch ungefragt unaufdringlich kümmert. Unseren besten Dank dafür. Das wird ergänzt durch ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Der Pool ist toll und großzügig, braucht dabei eine Renovierung, die für mich aber auch schon begonnen scheint. Ich freue mich auf einen Besuch, bei dem ich das Ergebnis sehe.

Tolle sehr ruhige Lage auf grossem Grundstück.

Sehr gute und ruhige Lage. Vermieter sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit, mit Tipps für Restaurant, Einkaufen und Umgebung. Sehr gut erreichbar.

In den oberen Stock, mit Schlafzimmer und Bad, führt eine sehr schmale Wendeltreppe. Die könnte für ältere, bzw. sehr grosse Gäste evtl. Probleme machen. Das Gepäck haben wir deshalb im unteren Stock gelassen.

Fantasztikus és autentikus.

Gyönyörű ódon villa, hatalmas kertben autentikus berendezéssel, igazán fantasztikusan éreztük magunkat. Gerald fantasztikus házigazda, óriási szívvel. Kedves volt tőle a meglepetés gyümölcs, a reggeli és az üdvözlő italok. Az is nagyon jó volt, hogy a medencét bármikor lehetett használni.

Geheimtipp

sehr französische Unterkunft in einem Park. Sehr netter Gastgeber,der uns mit vielen Informationen half. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit Butter, Milch, Joghurt , Wasser und Wein. Und es gab leckeres Brot,Marmelade und guten LavendelHonig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool hat uns gut abgekühlt bei der Hitze.

Très bel endroit, avec un accueil attentionné et très sympathique du propriétaire. L’appartement est très grand, décoré avec goût et très propre. Beaucoup de gentilles attentions pour les hôtes. Superbe !
