The location was perfect, very close to La Rambla but quiet. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and ready to help. They allowed me to leave the luggage after check-out till my departure to the airport.

Very reasonably priced compared to other accommodations in this area. Walkable to many tourist areas/attractions. The staff are super friendly. Our room had 2 comfortable beds and our own bathroom with shower. It is a “hostel” but it felt like a hotel room. Our room had a cute balcony. I felt safe in this location as the staff took security seriously. I would recommend.
The only small nuisance was the lack of control of the room temperature. It was hard to get the room cool enough to feel really comfortable sleeping at night.

Room was perfect - small and cute with everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was very clean and had 24 hours reception.
I had a heavy bag and there are stairs to get to the lift which is not ideal for a solo traveller. The area was not safe. On my first morning I had a gold necklace ripped from my neck at 10.30am in the morning, just a few hundred metres from the hostel. I would not recommend this area for a single female - it is not safe. I left Barcelona early the next day as I did not want to be there.

Very central location and staff were friendly and helpful. I really appreciated having my own sink (though tiny) in the room, and a kettle and fridge, very practical.
There is no sound proofing at all so I slept terribly even with foam ear plugs in. The single room is right next to reception which is open 24 hours - great for security but not if you want to hear every single conversation outside! Being near the market and bars/restaurants meant it was also quite noisy outside. The shared toilet and shower were clean but with just one hook there's no where to put any belongings, clothes, toiletries when you have a shower.
