This family owned hotel picks you up at the train station and drives you back there. They give you all required information to visit the city and drive you to the Snow Monkeys. The hotel has its own onsens (温泉 - public baths) (for females and males) and a private one you can share with friends or family.

This small hotel was perfect for our family of three. We had a large room with a private bathroom. It is right across from a delicious bakery, ramen shop and public onsen 3. The private onsens in the property are awesome! The couple that runs this hotel went out of their way to welcome us and make our stay comfortable including rides to the snow monkey park, coin laundry place and train station. We lived our relaxing time in Shibu Onsen.

Kind, generous, and helpful hosts. Great location and price. Large room and we could open the windows. Loved the private open air onsen. They offered us rides to the monkey park and train station which was so helpful.
The sleeping mat was very hard.
