Staff were polite but slightly spaced out. Place was old and in need of updating. Reception area had a funky smell

Really liked it at the Beeches. I wouldn't hesitate to book a again.

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. Considering a branded hotel for 1 night, room only was £43 less than staying here for 2 nights, with use of a gym, pool, jacuzzi and sauna!! All of which I used on both days. The hotel is kept to a great standard, and very clean. Plenty of parking. Also a lift, which was a god send. Absolutely made my day finding a fan in the closet, as I struggle to sleep without one. The duvet was a feather one too, bedding was clean, and good pillows.

The size of our room, with it being on the top floor, felt quite cramped due to it being a dormer room. The bed was too soft for me personally, as I am recovering from a back injury. But that's a small negative. The breakfast was sold to us as a buffet one, including the hot food, which sounded perfect as we required carb free, but in the morning we were told with it being quiet, we would have to order hot food. Which is understandable, but the chef clearly didn't follow the waitresses order as my plate arrived with everything I said I specifically said I didn't want on it. If your eating a normal diet, the breakfast would have been brilliant. Plenty of cereal, bread for toast, fruit juice, tea coffee etc. I would say this was the only negative that could have been avoided.

Winter break in Nottingham

Staff friendly , food very good ,Room was clean with tea / coffee facility , it has the added advantage of having good leisure facilities - pool ,jacuzzi& sauna .

We had booked a small double room but realised it was not suitable for us . We contacted reception staff who swiftly provided us with an alternative and adjusted the cost .The alternative was a huge spacious room which we were very happy with.

Good, well priced hotel room.

Price. £84 for a king sized bed and two breakfasts included. Pool and sauna. Parking.

Location next to a busy road on the side of our room. To be fair, once I was asleep it wasn't really a problem just earlier on with the boy racers revving their engines. Jacuzzi was pretty chilly so I avoided that. Pool temperature ok. As with nearly every hotel room I have ever stayed in, nowhere in the shower to put your soap.

Fabulous hotel

Friendly staff throughout, the food was fabulous - both evening bar meals and breakfast. Loved the spa facilities and an extremely comfortable room 😊

The room decor didn't reflect the character/decor of the rest of the hotel. Room 32 was a white walled room with little/no decor, it felt like a hostel rather than hotel /spa room. stayed for 1 night, I wouldn't have stayed for two nights sorry.

I enjoyed my stay would stay at the hotel but wouldn’t have breakfast.

The location was ideal for Motorpoint arena. The hotel was clean the leisure facilities are lovely.

The breakfast wasn’t great vegetarian sausages didn’t taste nice. The eggs were rubbery the tomatoes were dry wouldn’t have breakfast again but would stay at the hotel.

Lovely hotel! Unlucky to be staying in a noisy room.

I like the hotel in most respects: the location is good and the rooms are comfortable, large and well-equipped. The free access to the gym and swimming pool is an added bonus.

Having specifically asked for a quiet room, we were disappointed to be allocated a room near the access doors and facing the main road. We didn't sleep well as a result. Shame.

It is not value for money this place, room improvements required urgently.

Breakfast is too expensive for what it is. bread is awful, a better selection will be appreciated. Dinner was good.

The room is very small, the bed is also quite small. There was an old wet patch (now dry) on the wall next to the desk that was never repaired/painted. The desk is tiny and the chair seat is completely worn out (you can almost fall through it).
