I couldn't have picked a better place to stay or a better host to stay with!
This was our favorite place to stay during our entire trip! The host is super sweet and accommodating! She gave us a full explanation of the facility, the town, and things to do (including asking us what we were interested in). The facility sauna and lake access were amazing! We could jump straight off the diving board into deep, clear water. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I didn't want to leave!
Honestly the only 2 things I could wish for are an oven in our room (even a toaster oven) and AC. Although, even without AC, the hotel stayed relatively cool.

Hallstat was amazing. Scenery magnificent. Salt Mine tour first class, Cable car and Ice Cave excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights in paradise. Only issue was finding suitable places in evening for a meal. Restaurants close too early..

I had such a wonderful stay at Pension Sarstein! The location is absolutely perfect — just a few minutes’ walk to the center of Hallstatt, yet very quiet and peaceful at night, which made it easy to relax. My room had a lovely, cozy vibe with everything I needed, and the view from the balcony was simply magical. The atmosphere here feels welcoming and homely, and I really loved having this as my base in Hallstatt. The lady who runs the place is super friendly, kind, and always helpful — she truly made my stay feel special. I honestly loved my time here and would highly recommend Pension Sarstein to anyone visiting Hallstatt.

The bathroom was not cleaned properly. They need to add a fridge in the room for the drinks and food. It’s a humidity place they should add also Air cond or fan.

Very nice place, very nice hosts
Everything, the hosts were very kind and friendly. The rom was very cozy and with an AMAZING view. There were very nice amenities and loved how there was a very nice swimming area.
Nothing really, we enjoyed everything, I don't have any complaints other than the free Wi-Fi was very weak in our room.
