    My room was on 2nd floor, clean but facing the street, sometimes people parked their car right next to the window and looked inside the room. This wasn’t the biggest issue, I received a message from the hotel through Agoda, mentioned about the promotions and discounts. I went to the receptionist she said she knew nothing, she passed me on to another lady, another lady said she also wasn’t sure. They said they will checked, but then no follow up. Checked out time was the worst, waiting time at the lift was nearly 15 minutes. Got to the receptionist they told me I have to go one floor up to the locker if I want to leave my suitcase there. I went upstairs, the queue was really long as one of the machine was broken. Finally when I got my turn, I got an upper locker that was even higher than how tall I am. I had to push my 25kg suitcase over my head in a very narrow space, locker’s door bumped onto my head and I had a huge bump. Same issues to every others that wanted to keep their belongings in the lockers, disaster. I am quite disappointed with this hostel.

    It’s around 10 minutes walking distance from Central station so it’s very easy to get around. Bed and shared shower is comfy and clean. Recommend for budget traveller :)

    One blaring issue elevates all the problems with this stay. The bunk beds do not have any sort of blind. This creates a lack of privacy. On top of a lack of privacy, it does not allow yourself to control your sleeping environment. My bed faced the door directly, everyone entering directly looking at me as they enter. The bathroom door has a significant gap on the bottom (enough to pass a full hand) which makes the light and sound from the bathroom leak into the room, into the bunks. On top of that, the bathroom lights seem to turn on at random (my hypothesis being that it turns on whenever a door is open on the entire floor). Because yes, you cannot control the light, it’s some sort of sensor, so, as I was using the toilet, the light kept turning off, and I had to agitate my arms around to turn it back on. A very uncomfortable situation. All of these issues are compounded by very late check-ins, that with the help of the corridor light, bathroom light and noise from the door slamming (the door automatic closer seems to not be properly tuned, it is not supposed to slam when you let go of the door), contribute to the absolute worst nights I have ever experienced. I would not recommend a stay in this place, while the price is low and location convenient, not being to sleep while staying there is simply not worth it.
