Property is ok but service needs to be improved

The property was good, the location was close to Château de Chambord, our room was good for family stay. But, the service of the hotel restaurant was very bad- my daughter and son went there for dinner, the receptionist lady told the waitress my kids speaking English, then the the waitress complained loudly that she didn’t want to speak English in French, guess she didn’t know my kids both speak French at school and understood it. It ended up the waitress let them wait for very long time, serving many other customers coming later first, which was very disappointing. It’s the bad experience for our French trip this time. I don’t know how the employees trained before working but they surely need to be more professional. Will skip this hotel for trip in the future.

Originally booked for 1 night. Enjoyed it so much stayed for a 2nd night.

Location for the breathtaking Chateau de Chambord. 3kms. Arrived early and beat the crowds. Outstanding team of young staff. Lena, Julie, Ewen and Stephen had a huge workload in the busy busy restaurant. Charming highly efficient and patient.

Great location, fairly new facilities and good quality food

Most of the staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. However, one waitress (dark hair with a lip piercing) was just flat out rude. Constantly dismissive and unfriendly, it seemed as though everything we said or asked was a massive inconvenience. Needs a bit of an attitude change, she can learn from every other employee at the hotel who were fantastic. We were there for one night, and her service dampened the experience

Staff were good and helpful. Restaurant is okay, not great. Breakfast was good. Close to Chambord. Rooms are comfortable, if small Common areas are comfortable. Great bike storage.

Beds have a waterproof mattress cover...that is crazy, you just remove it and remake the bed. Our room had a problem and we had to move, it would have been nice to receive some compensation for that, none was offered. No other options for dining nearby. Restaurant dinner was was 7/10. Pool area needs more shade.

Toilet room was too small - not good if you are a taller person or claustrophobic. Menu is limited and we were told that it was because it was all made on site and fresh, yet when my husband asked for the burger without salad, this wasn’t possible as the burgers were already made. I might add that I had the burger with all the trimmings and it was very tasty.

Very nicely renovated property!

This hotel is newly renovated! Overall it was very nice. Beds comfy, room size perfect, quiet. Great to spend the night. Very modern style. We reached at night and the host was very very accommodating!

Our bathroom was divided so the toilet was totally separate from the sink and shower. This made both very tiny! I just wish that it was together, would just make things easier. But other than that it was perfectly fine.

Good stay

We didn't have breakfast but had a fabulous dinner. Good location for Chambord. Stayed only one night. Bakery down the road for coffee and croissant if you don't want a large breakfast. Good private car park. Rooms were missing kettle/coffee/milk but could ask for hot water and milk. Very helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay.

Stylishly redecorated, great dinner and an excellent breakfast

Stylishly redecorated bar restaurant, friendly helpful staff, delicious dinner and excellent range of things on the breakfast buffet. The bedroom was smart and comfortable. The last bits of renovations are being completed so it should be even better soon. Very well located for visiting Chambord

The door to the second building was a bit tricky
