Exceptional

Perfect for a stop over whist driving back to Calais from the south. Nice room, comfy bed and decent breakfast. I had an evening meal too that was very good and priced right. Hosts were very welcoming and the car was parked ina secure area. I will certainly stay here again if I going that route again.

Lovely country stay with pool

We had dinner and breakfast here both very nice. Our dog was welcome. The pool was great fun and the table football. Friendly hosts. I did a nice morning run round the area. You are in the middle of the countryside. Just a one night stopover for us.

The bathroom smelt a little of damp (in Romantique room). Everything else great!

Excellent b & b Carol and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. The location is very quiet and the swimming pool was amazing after very hot days sightseeing. The breakfast and evening meals were varied and beautifully presented. Would recommend this property to anyone.

It was a wonderful stay for us!

Beautiful quiet setting with a lovely pool. Caring and friendly hosts that go the extra mile to make your stay extra special. Home style delicious food. We felt extremely safe in its gated setting. Highly recommend. It was a great location for day trips to visit the Chateaus in the beautiful Loire Valley.

We found this was the perfect place for us. It suited our needs to a tee. Out and about during the day it was the perfect place to return to for a swim and home cooked meal by the friendly and caring owners. Very relaxing and we had enjoyable interactions with other travelers as well.

This was a perfect stop on the way to the south-west of France.

We did not even feel we had a language barrier (though we had one). Instead we felt at home immediatly: a warm welcome, a really good evening meal, really nothing to complain about.

Really a hidden gem! Very calm in the countryside, very secure parking, super dog friendly (can run around safely and was more than welcome) and also the food is great! the room was nice and clean. The owners are super friendly and caring people. The pool was so pleasant at a hot day! I will definitely return! it’s a really good value for money deal with owners with a big heart and smile.

The staff was very nice and hospitable. We arrived in the evening and there is no places to eat in site, however, we were offered a very nice 3 course home-cooked meal for a very reasonable price. Also, the breakfast was very good, too.

The rooms were a bit cold. Also, the rooms are upstairs, so need to be able to carry your own bags up. The location is very much off the beaten path, like in the middle of the field almost.

Highly recommend this one of a kind, authentic experience.

It was one of the most memorable experiences of the trip. Claude and Carol were exceptional hosts. Claude cooked a full course dinner featuring wild boar, it was absolutely delicious. And, Carol baked from scratch an out of the world apple pie on puff pastry finished flambe style. The dinner was in a rustic, quaint, historical setting with wooden beams and bricks on the ceiling and a giant fire place. It was an authentic, special experience that makes a trip memorable. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful and relaxing spot

We loved everything: our stay was short but very relaxing and home feeling. The food was great and the staff very nice. Our 1 year old child really enjoyed playing in the garden.

Perfect relaxing place for a stopover, dogs very welcome!

The hosts were lovely as well as the other guests. We only stayed one night stopping over but enjoyed it thoroughly. Both breakfast and dinner were superb.

The walls in the house are very thin so you do hear almost everything else happening in the house but it has a familiar feeling and was expected. The bedding and decor in the rooms is also a bit outdated.

The food was ok.

We had problems to settle our bill. We could not pay with credit/bank card. They only accept cash. Therefore we had to drive to the next village to get cash from the bank. This was not appreciated since we still had 550 km to drive to get home.

Lovely overnight stop, good food and great hosts.

Lovely place to stay, hosts were so gracious and friendly. Dinner was excellent. Lovely quiet location. Cute dog! Room nice decor and very clean.

The bed was very hard. We both had trouble sleeping. Carol please put mattress toppers on the beds! Also, the bedside lights were not bright enough to read by...would be good to have reading lights. Lastly, would be nice to have a dimmer on overhead light. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Séjour plus qu'agréable

Chambres d'hôtes exceptionnelles,autant par le cadre,les prestations que leurs hôtes et leur gentillesse. Nous avons été superbement accueillis et servis par Claude et Carole.on s est régalé lors du petit déjeuner et des tables d'hôtes. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Gemütliches Gasthaus in tollem Gebäude

Schöne gemütliche Unterkunft, sehr netter Empfang durch die Gastgeber. Mein Hund durfte sich im eingezäunten Garten frei bewegen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war auch sehr gut.

Ein paar mehr Haken zum Aufhängen von Sachen, zum Beispiel an der Tür wären super.

Geweldige ontvangst, prachtige en schone kamers en dan ook nog een geweldig diner. En het ontbijt was ok prima. Zeer authentiek en rustiek. Zo wil je wel weer terug!

Niet van toepassing. Alles was top. Dat je alleen cash kunt betalen was even een dingetje, maar even schrapen en we kwamen er wel uit. Hadden we maar beter moeten lezen....

Nous étions de mariage a 15 minutes donc lieu idéal pour passer la nuit..lieu calme.accueil chaleureux, disponibilités, petit déjeuner copieux et bon.prix très correct.
