I loved the lap pool! The beach access was great, the staff was very friendly and everything was working as it should, with no issues.
The lighting in the rooms can be improved (it is terribly cold and makes the room look dated) and the waiting times for checking in and checking out were a bit long. If there are five or six computers available, having a single person managing those procedures is not ideal.

Beautiful grounds, wasn’t hassled for any extras or “upgrades” … food is amazing (better than the Hilton!). Kids had a blast at the water park which was included. Heaps of pool chairs and the ocean there has very little sargassum.

Royal sands is a wonderful resort. The place was very clean and the staff was great. The food was very good as well. We will be back
