    The bad- Casa Turquesa is TIRED. What could be the best hotel in the strip just needs some maintenance and updating. The jacuzzi tubs outside the rooms are not functional. Many areas are boarded up and no longer in use. The road getting in is uneven and hard to walk on. Our bed only had sheets and no blankets. The Good- Rooms are HUGE! Staff is friendly. Price is excellent. The art is gorgeous and nice to walk around and look at. The hotel feels like a palace. The AC is cold. Beach is very accessible. A 5 minute walk to resteraunts and a plaza with a super market. Being able to walk to a lot of places is a huge bonus. Would I stay here again? Yeah if it continues to be the cheaper option. I would gladly pay more to stay here if it was fully restored to its glory.

    Lovely stay at hotel. Right on beach front. Very quiet when we stayed, sometimes had pool to self and enough sun beds on both beach and pool for guests. Lots of maintence work going on when we stayed but didn’t disturb too much. The water in the bathroom was boiling and very hard to control temperature, even when we asked for someone to look into it they just said we need to adjust temperature ourselves. Staff seemed friendly.

    Please don't let the photos that are posted convince you that this is a nice place....it WAS a nice place, but now it isn't. A lot of deferred maintenance exists, Warm water for showers is very difficult to dial in, my bath to is un useable because of the water rust and dust that has accumulated in it. Please don't come here.

    Walking up the hill to the hotel with the paving stones uneven and loose is unforgivable. A quirky hotel that may satisfy quirky travelers. Not for the faint of heart. Mediocre restaurant at best
