Highly recommended - Great hosts and location!

B&B Julia is a fantastic choice in Trieste. The hosts are great and very helpful. The location is perfect for seeing the city on foot and serves as an excellent hub for visiting nearby cities like Venice or Ljubljana. Having access to a garage was a lifesaver for our car. Don’t miss the breakfast.. The coffee is top-notch! We would definitely stay here again.

Dont expect enough breakfast

Free parking place, good location, comfy bed

Odor from bathroom, noisy street in the night, breakfast not worthy the price, the owner make you once 1 tost or 3 tosts, you never know what to expect. Once he made 1 dry tost and gone, thats it. You have to join 1 small table with other guests

The location was good, David was very friendly and informative. Breakfast was continental, no full Irish fry, but set us up nicely for our morning waik.

The host was fantastic. Davide was helpful answering our questions, with parking our car, and having breakfast and coffee ready in the morning. The B&B is very well located and comfortable.

Short Stay in Trieste

Location was very good and hosts very friendly. Room was a nice size.

Bathroom smelt strongly of drains and was worse once we used the shower. There is a noisy road outside so we were woken up by early morning traffic even though the windows were closed.

Davide is a great guy and his place is highly advisable, unless you have an aversion to stairs.

Davide (the owner) got in touch to offer me a parking spot in his garage. Very generous, especially in Trieste, where parking is hugely difficult to find.

Thanks very much! We really enjoyed it and can only recommend B&B Gens Julia! We really appreciated the air conditioning, as it was very hot in Trieste these days. Since the accommodation is on the 3rd floor, it is only suitable for visitors who are able to walk well!

This is a great choice for Triest

The perfect place to stay in Trieste. Just a couple of minutes walk to centro but away from the noise and crowds. You won’t find a better host anywhere than Davide ! So kind and helpful. The rooms are great and he makes you a nice breakfast. And … a private secure parking garage! We absolutely loved it.

This B&B is located in the heart of the Old City, which makes it perfect for couples who want to explore the romantic side of Trieste. It's near the San Giusto cathedral on one side and Piazza dell'Unita on the other, and roaming around those two, you can find many charming shops, cafes, trattorias, and osterias. The room was spacious and comfortable, and so was the bed, and the bathroom was clean and tidy. We had an Italian breakfast with various sweet pastries, fruit yogurts, juices, and fantastic coffee. However, the owner did offer to make it more continental if we were up for it. But the best thing about this accommodation was Davide, his wife, and his mom, who were super friendly and helpful. One notion: the apartment is on the third floor of the building without the elevator, so bear that in mind when booking if you have any walking impairment.

Staying in a traditional historic house on the 2nd floor, as if we moved back in time by 100 years,

Everything was excellent - location in the city center, helpful owner, clean everywhere. No one can blame for the fact that the traffic on the street is busier at night. Perhaps the house could be better marked for accommodation (it was only on the bell), breakfast could be enriched with eggs, butter ...... But these are the little things, we were very satisfied.

The location is very central. The breakfast was average good. The room was also very nice. I really liked the fact that for 5 Euros more you can have a parking lot right below the house. Overall it is all very nice.

The breakfast was so so, it could heva been better or with more variaty of food. The price was ok, if it was slighlty cheaper it would have been a bit better.

Very nice hosts, excellent location, very comfortable and super clean room. The bathroom was very large. The breakfast was excellent. We had an option to park in a garage as well for an extra 5 EUR/day. We will be definitely returning back.
