Perfect stay in Trieste. Charming room, great location, and friendly staff.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, just a short walk from the sea and all the main attractions. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated in a charming medieval style. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I also loved the option of a very late check-out on Sunday, which made my stay even more relaxing. A special mention for the excellent trattoria right in front of the hotel entrance, a great spot to taste authentic local dishes. Highly recommended budget hotel!

You get exactly what you pay for; a big clean room with super friendly staff in the middle of town!

Location is excellent, you really are in the middle of everything. 10/10, no notes. The staff are excellent. They give recommendations, they clean well, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a nice stay!

The only issue with this hotel is that it does not have air con. My room had windows on two sides which helps a bit, but the street can be both smelly (seafood, smokers) and loud. So as long as you're fine with wearing ear buds, roll on. At the end of the day, you're in the middle of the city centre, and the price is super friendly. So something's gotta give. This I'm perfectly fine with,

Very well located and very nice and efficient staff. Easy communication and quick answer. Also, the toilet was very well prepared so I wouldn't have any incovenient even if it was -theoretically- shared.

The air conditioning working automatically it's a real pain: it's very noisy and too cold for the night hours.

Delightful, unique hotel

This is a unique hotel in the middle of the old town. It is delightful in its decoration, in the common areas and the room. Christian is very helpful - eg he allowed me to park my bike by Reception, though there is no proper bike place (1st Floor, no lift).

Great stay in the center of Trieste for cheap

I received a very warm welcome, and this hotel met my expectations in every way.

The street is very busy at night and can be quite noisy, but of course the hotel can't do much about it.

Not worth the money you pay for . Facilities are really poor and need immediate attention

- Location was quite central

- There was no proper lighting in the room - The shower was defective ; on the first night o couldn’t manage to have any hot water ; water was very cold . - The shower drain was probably clogged due to which the whole shower became a swimming pool only after starting the shower for few minutes - it was very hot inside the room due to which I had to keep the windows open - it was very loud outside of the room - both due to the loud noise and extremely hot feeling inside the room , I couldn’t sleep the two nights I stayed

the location is unbeatable, even parking was managable. everything in walking distance and the receptionist was super eager to help us!

our room was very hot and the ventillator didn’t really help. the fridge was not working properly because of the furniture it was placed in.

Clean and easy to go around in the city and not far from the buss stop. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Prefect I you have low hygiene needs and don't use the shower for more the 2 mins.

Hot water supply was insufficient and ran cold within minutes. The hotel made made some excuses about water pressure, which made no sense and quiet frankly insulted our intelligence.

Great place to stay when in Trieste! Yes, it is loud, but don‘t forget you stay in the City Center. What do you expect? Birds singing and rivers floating? Just take something with you to protect you from the noise and you will be rewarded with a really nice Place and a very friendly staff!

Great location for a moderate price

The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He even let me leave my luggage in the hotel after I checked out and provided me with the entry code so that I can come and go as a please, even though I was no longer a guest. This was a big help for me since I spent another full day in the city. The location is also great. Everything I needed was in walking distance. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped.

The floor and some other surfaces were a bit dusty. Nothing I couldn't handle, though. The street where my window opened to was rather busy and there was no air conditioning so I had to keep that window open.

Good value and unbeatable location

Unbeatable location. Makes you feel like a local as you turn off the busy streets into your own apartment building. Decent sized room and cool but kind of grungy decor.

I would not stay here in the summer. It was hot despite the mild weather and opening the window would mean letting in the constant street noise. With the windows closed the noise is fine although the walls seem very thin and you can hear people in other rooms very clearly. Also annoying is the typical European motion sensor-activated lights. Maybe in a windowless hallway you could leave the lights on? So then I wouldn't have to walk around in the dark waving like an idiot?

Very central location. Very easy self check- in with detailed and easy to follow instructions. Rooms really look like on the pictures and are a good size

We had a street facing room and it was extremely noisy. Because there is no aircon we had to have the windows opened at night to ease the oppressive heat in the room that not even the ventilator could ease. There was a kettle but no cups.
