Notre hôte nous a aimablement accueillis. Grande et belle demeure dans un quartier tranquille, pas loin du centre ville. Chambre confortable, très bon petit déjeuner (avec des confitures faites maison) pris sur la terrasse. Parking dans la propriété.

There is secure parking and the house is in a quiet setting. After a rather indifferent and impersonal check-in process all in French I was shown my upstairs bedroom. It wasn't clear to me if there were public spaces available to enjoy such as the garden etc. You can hear noise from the neighboring room which happened to be a family with a crying baby. The room was okay for a solo traveler but would be cramped for two people I think. The bathroom was very nice and larger than most I have experienced. There was a heated towel rack. The breakfast was excellent and perhaps the best thing about my stay. I think I would have enjoyed myself more if I spoke French and could have interacted with the hosts.
