One of the best prices you can get for a double room with a private bathroom on the French Riviera. It's around 10 minutes away from the train station so you can explore the region, I think it's a budget hotel that's the closest to a train station. It's an out-of-town zone, so there are some big supermarkets and stores nearby. There's also a Paul bakery close and the hotel has a microwave, so you don't necessarily need to book breakfast with your stay.

The room is quite small; there's no space for big luggage. The bathroom also fits only one person at a time. The bed is not comfortable, I wouldn't recommend sleeping there for more than 3 nights. I would share 3 considerations for potential solo female travelers - if you're gonna be returning after dark, know that the alley to the hotel isn't lit, the recepcionist is mostly somewhere upstairs, and the majority of guests we saw in the common areas looked like foreign (male) workers who somehow found it cheaper to live here instead of renting a proper apartment (we might be wrong, but they didn't give the vibe of French Riviera tourists)

Great hostel, perfect for a few days, clean showers, and sleeping in. I didn't live in a shared room, but rented a «cabrio». It's small, but with its own shower and toilet, which was a big plus. The staff is also all nice and helpful. If I'm ever in the area, I'll know where to find a cheap and comfortable place to stay. I especially liked the fact that I could pay in cash. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any good places like that, or the location wasn't right for me, but here everything was perfect. I'd also like to point out that the hostel is in a pretty convenient location, with a train station nearby, from which you can hop on and off anywhere, especially to nearby destinations. But again, it's all a matter of taste; I travel light, so I didn't find any major downsides.

Staff were friendly, helpful and always available. Location convenient for train station to reach the scenic towns. Supermarket very close. Bed was comfortable. Being able to buy a towel for 3 euros was ideal!

Location is convenient as a base but it’s on an industrial estate with rubbish lying around everywhere - not the hotel’s fault. Villeneuve is not a place to visit, only to sleep.
