Hotel Perla Riviera

Our room was dirty. Black stuff either growing on bathroom ceiling or just splattered there. Lipstick on a wall. When we arrived they couldn’t find us in the system and they were pretty rude once they found their error. As a positive our view is spectacular.

Staff was great - friendly and helpful. Rooms are air conditioned.

Place was lovely and clean - great room with good air conditioning. However, pool is a lot smaller than shown It is a 50-minute walk from the beach We got completely ripped off at the bar in the hotel - having to pay 22 euros for a gin and lemonade When first arrived became very stressed as they could not find our booking - nearly making us pay an extra 86 euros. Hotel is based on a hill - there is a lovely shopping centre near by. Food & drinks were VERY costly and for the price you pay, in my opinion, it is not worth it. Will not be going back

Out of the way from tourist activities, 30-45 min drive. Pool closed way too early, 8 pm. Breakfast was a light (bread and juice).

Fine hotel with good staff, clean and comfortable rooms and convenient location.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Lovely view over pool, valley, mountain, castle. Easy access to the Polygone Riviera shopping centre and a bus stop to the airport. Very thin walls however that you can hear too much from other rooms and bathrooms.

The furnishings had perhaps seen better days but it was OK. Lovely view from the window and the breakfast was good.

Nothing fancy, but a nice place with a really nice view.

Hotelliin oli helppo löytää, mutta sijainti aika kaukana kaikesta. Kymmenen minuutin kävelymatkan päässä oli iso ostoskeskus, jossa ravintolat auki puoleen yöhön, eli ravintoloitakin lähellä. Hotellin yleiskunto oli ihan ok, huone vähän kostea ja samoin kylpyhuone. Siivoojat vei kylpypyyhkeet, mutta unohti tuoda puhtaat tilalle kahtena päivänä. Henkilökunnan englanninkielentaito ei ollut kovin hyvä. Buffetaamiainen oli hyvin yksinkertainen ja mielestäni puutteellinen. Se ei myöskään sisältynyt hintaan vaan maksoi 10€/per hlö per aamu. Chek in oli varsin myöhäinen, vasta klo 17. Uima-allas oli mukava ja allasalueella ei ollut ruuhkaa yhtään. Huoneeseen kaipasin kyllä minibaaria. Hotel was fine, room was a bit small and moist and our towels and swimsuits didn't dry there at all. The breakfast wasn't included and I tought it was a bit poor. The pool was nice and we were almot every day the only ones there, so nice privacy. The hotel staff didn't speak wery well english. The location was ok for us, because we had a car. Without a car the location would have been a problem. Near the hotel was a big shopping area with several restaurans that were open late, that was good. Also the cleaners forgot twice to bring us clean towels, they just took the dirty ones away. The other time we got a new ones from the staff and the other time we didn't cause the hotel staff had already gone home.

The hotel is hard to find even for the taxi driver. Staff was helpful but not available until 8 am. She did book a car for me for my early flight. We were there during the football game in Nice. Other hotels increased their price except a few like this one. Good value.

The Hotel Perla Riviera was clean, comfortable and had patking.It was good value for money. It was convenient to places of cultural interest and Nice Airport.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. A bit out of the way with not much to do in the immediate area. The food in the hotel was the best I had in the South of France. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family as it was very reasonable for the price and not too far from Nice Airport and local transport.

THIS HOTEL WAS GOOD QUALITY AND THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. It is about to close for about 7 weeks for complete refurbishment by its new owners-reopening in February. When this refurbishment is completed I am sure that the ratings will be mostly 5 Excellent.2 or so KM from centre of VILLENEUVE LOUBET VILLAGE.
