As they say on “Four in a bed” would you stay here again? Yes

The reception and bar/restaurant areas looked welcoming and very clean. The staff were very friendly. Our room was a decent size and very clean. There were tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. An iron and ironing board were also provided.We went to the restaurant and had some food. I had the homemade steak pie which was very nice with big chunks of beef in it. My husband had the lasagne and again this was very nice, the only observation (not a complaint) please don’t put salad on a hot plate! I found the bed very comfortable, my husband didn’t but these are personal preferences. The buffet style breakfast was very nice with a good choice of items and juices to choose from only comment here is that it wasn’t hot enough. All in all very good value for what we paid especially on Valentines Day.

The shower was very poor. There was hardly any water pressure.

A great stay enjoyed by all.

Very clean and welcoming, staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble, nice relaxing time enjoyed the food in the restaurant was excellent well presented and full of flavour, the staff at breakfast made you feel at home very informative with regards to the breakfast servings, you knew where everything was before you took your seat, temperature checks on the food was carried out to an high standard.

Location was perfect, parking available, nice staff, room had everything I need, good timing for breakfast (allowing a little lie-in) and breakfast was very nice, no queueing self service,....nothing not to like really, I would have no hesitation in returning.

Excellent choice

Trip was for elderly in-laws who are not all that mobile. Their review is that the hotel staff were wonderful, facilities excellent, good disabled parking and great location.

Perfectly adequate and good value as a stop-over.

Worh paying a bit more for a double bed.

Still no armchair in the room despite plenty of space for one. Could not find switches for bedside lights. Did not like little bottles of milk on each breakfast table nor absence of prpoper bowls of sugar. Sachets far too small and cumbersome.

Member of staff was rude. No food available the evening it was booked- we were not aware of this until nearly an hour after booking. Info came through on email- difficult to read when driving. Was only informed by staff member food unavailable when asked where the restaurant was situated unfortunately after booked in. Moved to a different hotel. Once I had sent emails stating the issue and I replied the hotel then blocked my emails so unable to discuss.

A good hotel in a fairly good location at a reasonable price

We arrived by car, large car park at rear of hotel. Reception was bright and airy, staff very welcoming and friendly, check in was efficient. The double room was clean and tidy and of a good size, amenities good. We ate in the hotel in the evening and the meals were of good quality and reasonably priced. We had breakfast the next morning and that was very good. All in all a warm and welcoming friendly hotel with good hospitality and food. We would return. Highly recommended for the price

Far exceeded my expectations.

Excellent hotel, very good value for money and conveniently situated for the town centre. The breakfast and dinner were very good. I would certainly recommend and stay here again.

Comfortable stay with nice breakfast

Clean and comfortable room. Highlight was breakfast - so nice to choose from a variety of hot and cold options and breakfast without being rushed. We went to the pub across the road for some food in the evening, tasty food.

Beautiful place to stay

A nice place to stay and a comfortable stop for us while travelling down from Scotland to Norwich. It was easy to get to from the motorway, which made the journey much easier. The hotel was clean, well kept, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was good throughout our stay. We slept well and felt well looked after. A pleasant, straightforward stay and somewhere we would happily use again.

Lovely room, warm and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff, chocolates at reception. Local area was nice with a couple of friendly bars nearby.
