outstanding, little hidden gem

its was an adoreable hotel located within walking distance from the beach anf old town, the staff couldnt br nicer when the found out we were leaving before breakfast they offered to pack us a lunch to take with us. The lunch consisted of a half of loaf of home made bread, ham, turkey, cheese and proscioutt. it also had fresh yourt, an orange , cream cheese, nutella and cheese wedge. Wow! what a nice suprise. The restaurant in the premisrs was outstanding. I had fish tartare that had a great lemon flavore with both orange and bkack caviar. I would highly recommend both staying there and eating there. The pool was refreshing and there was a grocery store directly across the street. also on the propert were lemon or orangd trees and olive trees, the waitress told us not only do the make homemade bread on the property they also make their own olive oil, Simply delicious!

There is a lot to like here

There is a lot to like about this place. The pool is great , the breakfast is great, the restaurant is great , and I am assuming if you get one of their renovated rooms they would been great too.

We didn’t get one of their renovated rooms and our room was very very basic for the money we paid.

Well-run comfortable hotel with all facilities.

Breakfast had extensive choices, lovely food that set us up for the day. Our room was simple and comfortable with a little balcony. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Short uber ride into the old town. The pool was welcome on such a hot day. Parking was essential for us.

Shower was a bit too small, could use an extra shelf.

Lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff

Hotel was very clean and staff were so welcoming. We arrived late in the evening but the staff arranged for an airport transfer. Fabulous breakfast included. Pool did look lovely but we were only staying one night before continuing on with the rest of our journey so didn’t get to try it.

Nice hotel, but expensive

Little hotel - I loved this hotel from the start due to closeness to Borik beach & friendly stuff

I stayed only 2 nights- not first time in this hotel but same issue with room 210- too noisy ventilation, so got changed to another room (211) that was good but that room had a hard bed. I feel it’s not a good price hotell anymore - because prices for one day stay have increased and breakfast is smaller than before. It’s still 3* hotel, now with 4* prices.. The day after I stayed at prifilehotels Plaza in Copenhagen for less than Mediterian price in a big kingsize room, and 4x bigger breakfast. I hope there will be some pricing changes in positive directions in the future.

Very enjoyable and relaxing

Breakfast had a variety of food for everyone, very organised. Bedroom was overlooking the pool, very comfortable and clean. Pool was lovely - always found a sunbed and the staff were available if anything was required

Gorgeous

We loved our stay at the Mediteran Hotel. I will start the review about the staff which was very, very professional and helpful. They seem to be a very nice team there. Everything was perfect, the room was big, cleaned daily, towels changed daily. The pool was amazing, warm, height and temperature of the water - very appropriate for a toddler, no music at all (which I loved) how it happens often to the hotels with pool. All the atmosphere there was very nice, as we were searching for some quiet place, Mediteran was clearly the best option. The garden is also very nice, we had the possibility to eat cherry-plums and cherry directly from the trees. The breakfast was also very good, a lot of fresh options. I would mention also that the hotel's restaurant is amazing, very elegant, we loved the bread with oil at the beginning of the dinner, we received very good recommandations for the wine, 3 options I received were amazing, lemon tart delicious. An amazing experience over all.

Good hotel for a few days.

The breakfast was really good. The home made yogurt was delicious. There was really enough. The staff at the breakfast was helpfully and friendly.

At the reception you had a lady with blond hair who was very kind and friendly. The lady with the black hair was only the first day when we arrived polite but all the other days you got not even a 'hello' or 'good morning' from this woman. We asked her for information about a ferry trip and her answer was : I don't know, you have to look at internet and call the company. She was not helpful at all. Unfortunately she was the exception and all the staff are really very kind.

Cracking stay in Croatia.

Fabulous …. Just fabulous, all of it! The staff were brilliant- helping you book trips and taxis etc. friendly - but not too much. Great breakfast choice. Lovely pool with drinks service. Hotel fine dining was tasty and gorgeous, plenty of places to eat around the hotel area and a steady 10 minute was to a crystal clear water beach…

Only complaint - and I had to dig really hard to find one. No kettle in the rooms.

Nice staff, Very rich and good breakfast beyond the standards, free parking, quiet room (at least no neighbor noise). Not in the center but by bicycle it is easy to reach the old town (10min). Good value for money

Window was not insulated properly, wind and street noise comes into the room easily. Fix shutters cannot darken the room properly for night.. No room safe

The friendliest staff ever!

Every single staff member was so friendly, welcoming and attentive which really made our experience here great. The pool was lovely, a good size, never too busy and they provided pool towels too. They also let us use it pre and post check out which was really nice of them. The hotel was a short walk from the beach and some nice beach bars. Dinner was definitely a highlight - we went for half board and it was a 3 course meal. All delicious and not what you would expect from 3* at all (way nicer!). Also, my boyfriend is gluten free and they ensured there was lots of choice for him, and always gave him huge baskets of gf bread too.

The room was a bit dated, but we did have a little balcony, and for the price it was still good. Breakfast wasn’t quite as great as dinner, but still a nice selection of breads, meats and cereals.

Would go back in an instant- it was a lovely stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful giving us a map and ideas of what to see. They let us use the pool before and after check in/out. Breakfast was delicious, a very good selection and served until 10am. The pool side food was also good. Great location, a short walk to the beach and harbour and €6 in an Uber to the old town. There is a shop right across the road too.

It is on a fairly busy road so there is some traffic noise but this didn’t disturb us.

Would have been brilliant if the breakfast could have been extended to 11am. Was on the more expensive side of accomodation and it is slightly out of town but the taxis are good so getting into town was easy and the beach near the hotel is nicer than the ones in town anyway!
