To start with there was a mix up with our rooms however we were then upgraded to the Jolly room with balcony and it was beautiful and we’re glad there was a mix up on the first place as the balcony at night is simply stunning. I wish I knew the woman’s name who is there every day to take care of the rooms as she was first class lovely and so helpful, we would definitely be back.

The property is in an excellent position just inside the old town walls and opposite the ferries. Everything was very clean, the bathroom in good condition with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. The cleaner was friendly but the person checking us in was a voice on the entry phone. It was not a problem as everything was well organised.
The decor was a bit over the top and not really to my taste but it did not spoil our stay

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms. It was clean and comfortable with a great balcony looking into the old town.
THERE IS NO PARKING AVAILABLE! The closest overnight parking is over 0.5 miles away and cost over €50/day. The host was nowhere to be found and spoke to us through a call box. She was unresponsive to emails / would not provide a phone number. We were left without any assistance!
