Calm and cozy hostel

Helpful staff and cozy atmosphere

The staff was very friendly, caring and helped in need. Atmosphere was clean and cozy, there was everything you need. Guests were also friendly and kind young people

Great host, good shower, good air

Great host, very good, fast, easy comunication, very clean (no shoes inside), good shower, good location - few minutes walk to bus, train stations, 30 min walk to ferry to go to Smiltynė beach/travel to Nida/sea museum, Melnragė beach 13 min by car, taxi bolt is cheap. Outside 2 min walk in bus station building is a coffee food place with plenty options to eat. There was possible to leave items before and after the check in / check out times, it seemed nice, quiet hotel (I don’t if it was my luck or it’s always like this, only there were 2 tourists talking in the kitchen at midnight, once they finished it was very quiet, not too much noise from outside), good air, nearby are pine and other tree forests, it’s nice for cycling, you can rent a bycicle and take it to ferry to Smiltyne/Neringa/Nida, in Nida you will find unique place - dunes. Food supermarkets - maxima, norfa, iki, rimi; big shopping mall with ice skating called Acropolis. Have a great time everyone.

Great location and for bike rental

We loved the hostel, location and staff were great. Was perfect for us to rent bikes to cycle on the Curonian Spit and then come back and take a train from across the road from the hostel. Made things easy for us and helped us have such a nice day.

The hostel is located within walking distance of the centre and offers free parking. The hostel is clean (for example the bathrooms and showers) and the room itself is spacious and with good beds. There are also very good kitchen facilities.

Submission inside with surprises

I have stayed here before, everything was very good and the staff was very helpful. But now, 5 days ago, I asked to leave the lower bed, and they definitely promised to do so. Unfortunately, on the day of arrival, I was informed that no one had left and the bed would be the upper bed. The impression is that the staff does not manage the ordering system very well. That is an unpleasant mood. And it was even more unpleasant when I tried to enter the hotel. The codes sent to me were WRONG. I tried to open the door as much as I could. But if the code is wrong, the door does not open. Through the surveillance camera, the staff member spoke to me, this is she speaking and saying that I need to enter the code and open the door, and that I do not know how to open the door, and in their 10 years of experience, this is the first time. You come tired and can't get in because the staff can't send the 4 correct numbers.

Super Helpful Owners

Both husband and wife who manned the front desk helped me tremendously. They gave me sightseeing recommendations, maps, and help with fixing things of mine that "broke."

The shower stall is small and doesn't have a place to put a bar of soap. The push button to turn on the water brings cold water at first, and it's hard to wait for it to get warmer without standing inside the shower. I finally just reached in, pushed the button, and quickly closed the door with me still outside.

Everything was perfect. The room was clean, the bathroom facilities were also very clean and the kitchen was well equipped with lots of general amenities (coffee, tea, sugar, oil, salt, etc). It was very good value. And the staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.

Klaipeda Hostel is a really comfy and lovely place! Everything is clean, the Kitchen is clean, the toilets and the shower! You always feel safe and you have the possibility to lock your stuff. Definitely a recommendation!

Nice and clean facilities. Great host. Also possible to borrow bikes (18€) and wash clothes (10€) Self Check-In was no problem. Location is right beside train and bus station. Ferry station is about 15 min walk away.

Clean, quiet, great location

This is an excellent family run hostel. It's right next to the bus station in a quiet residential part of the city. The rooms were clean and the owner was very helpful. I was able to rent a bike from the hostel to travel along the Curonian Spit.
