Booked at short notice we needed a hotel close to the railway station for an early departure. Price was competitive, location perfect and staff friendly.

This is basic accommodation and no more than that.
Check-in staff were friendly.
The room is basic, but clean, sadly there was a musty, mouldy smell- I couldn't work out where from. The patio door was hard to lock- cleaners left it open which I think was to try and get rid of the smell.
Busy road with some noise but I had earplugs so no problems for me!
Guest area with vending machines was clean, only takes cash though so you'll need some euro!
Close to the station, however quite a quiet area with minimal shops, restaurants etc. I felt nervous walking to the hotel when I first arrived around 10pm as it was so quiet.
You need to walk about 10mins to be in the main Málaga centre.
