Great ski-in/ski-out stay with excellent wellness facilities

Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The wellness area with the pool and saunas was beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. The ski-to-door access was perfect and made skiing extremely convenient. While the room view directly into the rock wall was not ideal, the illuminated mountain peaks at sunset still had a unique charm.

At breakfast, dark bread tended to run out quite quickly and was not always replenished in time. Offering a larger quantity or refilling it more consistently would improve the experience. Some members of the staff who spoke Slovenian felt the need to explain how many languages they spoke, but then struggled to communicate clearly in any of them, which became slightly distracting.

Excellent quality hotel, I would consider value for what you get

Lovely comfortable room, with a great bathroom. Good selection of breakfast items option for freshly cooked omelette, eggs pancakes. Afternoon cakes appreciated after skiing although only water available, tea and fruit juice selection would have been nice.

Great location for skiers, functional room with beautiful views (depending on which room you get)

The hotel has a gorgeous view! Wish the rooms all had the same view- though I stayed in the junior suite, it was on the 1st floor and it was as wow as I would have wanted. But if you’re here to ski, it has a great location- a bridge that connects directly to the slopes, so you can ski in and out. The ski lifts are just a small slope down hill. The hotel also has conveniently located lockers for your ski gears. If you need to rent, the ski shop (with fabulous service and good quality equipment) is right at the hotel. The hotel can also arrange for ski lessons and purchase of the lift pass. There’s a lovely spa with a small pool and gym downstairs. Kids play area is small, with just enough to entertain for a short afternoon of poor weather. The buffet breakfast has a lovely spread and even includes Prosecco if you drink in the morning! Dinner menu is a five course, pricey so skip unless you prefer not to trudge out for a meal, which is about a 8min uphill walk. It is also in the middle of the two bus stops at Oberteaurn , so expect to walk 7-10 mins either way (upslope or downslope) Overall I would say this hotel is great if you want to ski, or chill at the lobby area to watch people ski. Our go to place for skiing. Brilliant hotel with easy access to slope

Our 3 time staying at this hotel, it gets better every time we go, the new spa area is stunning. Staff, food, hotel and position to the slopes are excellent. We keep going elsewhere to try but always come back to the Romerhof as it cannot be beaten

The feel of the hotel was lovely, very welcoming and friendly.

No tea making facilities in your room and hot drinks had to be bought with your evening meal, which in most hotels visited would be complimentary.

Excellent Alpine break.

Excellent food including 6 course dinner. Nice spa area. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Johanna at reception.

Rooms a bit too hot at night. Location mid way between main town and lower slopes so can involve some walking.

Very warm welcome. Feel like you come to the friend's house. Comfort ski in, ski out, ski rent. Nice food and spa.

The resort itself was a bit not that we expected ( in terms of cosiness of the village), no normal walking roads for the people who dont ski, for example. But the hotel was excellent.

Alles fein - sehr gut geführtes Haus Genial fand ich die direkte Zufahrt mit Schi von der Pistr in den Schikeller. Frühstück und Abendessen waren reichlich und ausgezeichnet

2 kleine „Schade -Faktoren“: im adult Spa gibt es keinen wSsersoender und keine getrocknete Früchte wie im Family Spa. Das esse. Der showküche war entweder kalt oder nicht durch gekocht

Sigurno se vraćamo opet kod Vas!!!

Najviše nam se svidjela lokacija, sa skijaške staze direktno u hotel. To je velika prednost za djecu. Posebno želimo pohvaliti osoblje hotela, od samog dolaska; na dočeku gdin Čane, preuzeo je naše stvari i odnio u sobu koja je bila lijepo sređena i čista. Gospođa Slađana svaki je dan naš prostor učinila čistim i pospremljenim. Hrana je izuzetna, svi obroci su odlični. Gospođa Marta pravi najbolje palačinke, Marita i Erich su svaki naš obrok učinili posebnim, sve pohvale za njihovu susretljivost i profesionalnost. Sigurno se vraćamo u predivan Obertauern i u ovaj hotel.
