We had an excellent short stay
Great hotel, staff very welcoming and helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent too. We will definitely stay again, when next in Stamford and highly recommend.
Our only issue was with the road noise throughout the night, which became noticeable when we had our window open and had to be closed around 4 am.

A great stay in a lovely property close to the town centre and Burghley house. We would love to make a return visit.
Loved the atmosphere and position of the property. Bed really comfy, breakfast delicious. Although the rooms are mainly street facing we were amazed that we did not hear any traffic noise from the road outside.
Only slight negative - wish a shower cap had been provided as the shower was a large fixed head and you couldn’t avoid getting your hair wet!

Everything! The staff were pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. The whole environment of the hotel was warm and cosy. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Beautiful room with large comfortable bed. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean, and great to have a coffee machine and fridge in the room.
no complaints really, it would have been nice to have had a flannel provided as I didn't bring one as these are usually provided in hotels.

No shower in our en suite No comfortable chair in our bedroom No tea and coffee making facilities in our room No parking on site, this was at the sister hotel down the road
