Second time visiting and a great break. The area is very handy to use as a base to get around or just to chill.

Excellent location, thoughtful extras and very clean.

Apartment was better than expected, each bedroom practically had its own bathroom. The littles details were thought of such as a pint of milk ready in the fridge, complimentary tea/coffees/border biscuits and even a reusable shopping bag. The apartment was very clean, easy to access and the views were beautiful.

Other reviews mentioned about noise from the road, you could hear some but it was nothing that kept you awake at night so I wouldn’t let this put you off.

Lovely family celebration

Quiet are with lovely canal walks on our doorstep. My Granddaughter loved feeding the ducks & swans & playing in the small children’s play area.

En-suite downstairs shower didn’t drain away properly, so footwear was a must if we wished to use the loo.

Lovely location overlooking marina and close to canal walks and Carnforth Comfortable bright spacious 1st floor apartment with most things you would need for a short stay Was recommended by friends and we enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent location for The Lakes/Dales and surrounding areas. Very clean and spacious, and well equipped.

Close to motorway which could be heard sometimes. Unfortunately the BBQ area was quite far from our accommodation, so we didn't use that as we had originally hoped. However I would still return but not pack all the BBQ equipment.

Rude and arrogant staff.

Location and cleanliness however got an itch after sitting on the sofas

The staff were extremely rude and uncooperative right from the beginning. They failed to provide accurate check in information including guidance about how to find our apartment which led to extreme distress on arrival with family from 300 miles away. They used interrogatory tone during their communication and had dismissive attitude. Extremely disrespectful and challenging. Failed to provide necessary amenities including dishwasher tablets, detergent, shampoo/conditioner (bottles were bad and had just a little wash in them).

Beautiful, Calm, convenient and value for money home away from home.

The property was above the excellence. Spotless, No Smoke smell, No Pet smell or Furr, Great Location to travel around, Parking was just at the door steps, Very calm and pleasant atmosphere all around. Property was beautifully decorated with lots of add ons such as Games, Extra Pillows, Towels, Tea/coffee/hot chocolate, cookies. Really loved it.

Lovely spot

Very clean and good location. Plenty of parking, felt safe as is tucked away slightly and the kids enjoyed the park in the evenings. Would return.

Only thing that let us down was when booking it showed one of the apartments next to the marina (daughter loves ducks so was a bonus), when we arrived it was just at the side - just thought it was a tad misleading or I've missed something.

Perfect location, lovely accommodation.

Perfect location, short drive to The Lakes, Morecambe, Lancaster and lots of nice places in between. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Staff onsite were polite and friendly. Will definitely be back. Nice pub onsite too!

There were people, not residents fishing around the Marina in front of guests apartments. They were also smoking so the smoke would come into the apartments when the doors were open. I do not believe the site allows this but there did not seem to be any staff around to move them on. We have stayed here a couple of times before and this has never been an issue. We would still go back.

Great dog-friendly family holiday.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom property and were very impressed with the size. Everything we needed was provided including bowls and treats for our dog! Great base for exploring the Lake’s and a lovely pub next door too.

A peaceful location for a canal-side break

This property is in a pleasant location on Tewitfield Marina, with a ground-floor balcony overlooking all the boats. The Marina area is quiet. The facilities inside the property are very good, with lots of sleeping space and bathrooms. Parking is easy at the end of the building. It's close to the M6 motorway and the A6, so getting around the area is very easy, though there is some background road noise. Having a canal towpath outside your door means that it couldn't be easier to go for a quiet country walk.

A most relaxing few days away!

My family were all away on holiday and due to illness I couldn't go so booked a solo trip for myself for peace and quiet.The apartment was fabulous I had the most relaxing stay so booked an extra night.I will be returning next time I need to recharge my batteries.Angela in the office was so helpful in making my stay easy and enjoyable.Thank you

Perfect stay! Smooth check-in and check-out, with a spotless apartment featuring nice welcome touches like milk and coffee. Great location next to the canal trail and only a short drive to many Lake District attractions. Highly recommended!

The only possible thing you could possibly moan about is the proximity of the motorway. However, the layout of the property and the double glazing completely drown out the noise.

Weather 😄. Youngsters playing football outside by parked cars. To be fair it was half term and they did move to a more suitable area when neighbour asked them to do so but a no ball games sign might be a goodbidea.
