We enjoyed our stay and the event we attended.
It is a lovely venue in pleasant grounds and gardens. We were an attending a civil partnership event and everything was done with detail and pleasant staff to support the event. We stayed overnight and our room was very comfortable.
Unfortunately another wedding event was taking place on the same day and the guest were rather loud and later that evening when we had retired to bed arguments in the corridor outside our room went on for some time, at one point some one was banging on our door in the early hours. We did report this to the reception the next morning who were very apologetic about it.

Its all very good. Warm and welcoming. Plenty of parking. I'd stay again
stepping into and out of the bath for a shower is a bit a nuisance. There quite a change in level and it's not ideal.

Amazing hotel
We love staying here. Our bedroom was big and the bed was really comfortable. The shower was the best I’ve ever had. The breakfast was amazing with a big selection of cereals and pastries. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
The only thing which is not the hotels fault, was the noisy young kids running around and shouting at 2am in the morning

Lovely, but don’t put guests off with unnecessary emails prior to check in!
Location, food, ambience, staff, facilities, underfloor heating in bathroom! 😊
Long list of what you can’t do when you arrive! Would be nice to just be welcomed to the hotel without all the terms and conditions spouted constantly in emails!

Enjoyable, relaxing and all the facilities we needed for our stay.
Hotel known to us. Last visited in September 2023 and impressed by location and standards received then. Would return if staying in the area again.
Very little to fault.

Very enjoyable and relaxing experience with fabulous food and great service
We booked for an 87th birthday celebration with family.
Staff were attentive and flexible to make our experience unique and special.
We liked the fact that staff take initiative and customer service is exceptional.
There was a wedding going on during our stay which was lovely. We had to keep walking through a reception holding area to get from our rooms to reception /loft treatment / restaurant which felt rather awkward as it was very packed.
The iPads for ordering room service didn’t have up to date menus so after ordering staff had to come and retake our long order on pencil and paper from a new menu. This added almost 45 mins onto delivery time for evening meal.

Comfortable country hotel, well used by locals as well as visitors
Comfortable, spacious, quiet, all hotel facilities in rural location. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff with a personal touch. Super comfortable bed, good breakfast selection. Not cheap but would stay again-this was my second visit
No pool or gym . It’s quite a trek from the reception to the last bedroom, albeit all undercover.

Comfortable stay but staff could all do with some additional training.
Our room was spacious and clean.
The staff we encountered were all a little cold and didn’t seem to know what they were doing!

Almost there just a few tweaks
We loved the size of the room & bathroom was absolutely amazing! It was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Our food for dinner was excellent and delicious. We had a nice surprise when waitress bought out a dish with Happy Anniversary on it as we're celebrating our 21st Wedding Anniversary. The food at breakfast was plentiful and delicious too. The grounds and the garden were beautiful.
The bath water kept running through the plug because there wasn't a rubber o ring on the plug to seal the plughole.
TV didn't work and could only listen to one radio station. Couldn't turn volume down, so might be batteries in remote?
Pillows on the bed were a bit lumpy.
Our main issue however it was absolutely boiling hot in that room, we had to have fan on all night, so didn't sleep as well as we wanted to. I'm going through the Menopause so it's my worst thing being too hot anyway....
We also noticed the bathroom extractor fan not working properly, as alot of condensation on the walls. In general the bedroom could do with a fresh coat of paint, as it's looking a bit tired in places.
So I think for the price I paid I was a bit disappointed.

A luxurious stay in a lovely setting
Beautifully decorated bedrooms, cosy, comfortable, luxurious. Great breakfast. And when a delivery of surprise fizz and strawberries that had been organised wasn’t implemented properly, the staff went out of their way to apologise and solve the problem. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A good selection at breakfast. Had meals in the restaurant and the meals were delicious. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff we very polite and welcoming.
Nothing to complain about.

An expensive mistake. Disappointed and no sleep
Set in pretty grounds, but not close to the road networks, or any other amenities.
Most of the young staff were smiling and appeared friendly
Nice view from the wheelchair accessible’ room on the ground floor which was clean, but tired around the edges ( fairly large chunks of wood and paint needed attention to the bathroom door and the bathroom ceiling light constantly flickering)
Accessible bedroom door was extremely heavy and the width was not wide enough to accommodate manual self propelled wheelchair access.
Bedroom directly outside entrance to the wedding venue and the steps outside the bedroom window were used to host guests and afternoon drinks - Very intrusive and noisy - What would have been a great view, unable to appreciate due to closed curtains. Unable to relax in the room after a long journey.
As recommended in the advertisement for the property, we booked a table for two for an evening meal - advises few taxi drivers available to venture into town.
Big mistake.
The venue is not a budget option and expectations were high.
Starters: The dunk was okay, although small portions, but the scallops lacked seasoning, all three appeared to be very lightly seared, but one was very bouncy, chewy and practically raw .
The main course was a disaster, having ordered the vegetarian option ; a crusted celeriac steak, Cannellini bean bechamel, roasted brassicas, lemon and parsley oil , I was ready for a culinary adventure. Instead I was faced with a one dimensional taste of the same thing , overbearingly floral, that completely took over the whole dish. Everything tasted the same and I couldn’t eat it. Returning 75/80% of the meal. Not one member of staff returned to enquire if things were okay during our meal. My partner, although enjoying the Warwickshire pork fillet, again had issues with the portion size and was left feeling hungry.
When asked if everything was okay with the meal on the waitress clearing the table and seeing the food left, my partner said,No, it wasn’t okay and explained why… nobody enquired about it, nobody came to apologise. We were just told that a 10% gratuity was automatically added to the bill when it was time to pay. I don’t think so.
We retired to the room to listen to the wedding reception and later, vomiting guests later into the night as toilet noises echoed through the beautiful old building.
The extra £30.

A lovely tutor style hotel surrounded by gorgeous countryside.
We had a fabulous time. The hotel is surrounded with acres of land, it was glorious. The decor was grand and I loved the Tudor style building. The breakfast was filling, the bed was lush, the maze garden was fabulous, great selection of teas and coffee, about 4 mirrors in the room and lots of plug holes. We bumped into 3 brides so it's definitely an ideal wedding venue.
The only thing was our shower leaked from the bottom so we had less pressure. It was noted by the receptionist. Also, there was also a funny smell when we first arrived but went eventually. I found the staff very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely come back.

Perfect visit to a beautiful location and hotel .
Beautiful setting and beautiful hotel . Huge bed and super comfy with extra pillows if needed . Room was immaculate . Our dining experience was great. Absolutely could not fault anything . Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Every single member of staff I came across had a smile on their face and they were all so lovely and super helpful . A great team ! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again .
On a hot day it was hard with no air con, especially when only a small window opened and sun on room in afternoon. The fan didn’t really do much ! I probably could’ve asked for another but was only one night. . A little niggle was the loo not flushing very well and the wardrobe light would not go off so shined out the gaps all night . A fridge would also have been an added bonus on a warm day.

Lovely place but not sure we will be back!!
Stone Manor 5 stars all around, rooms are clean and tidy, Sunday roast and breakfast was amazing. Nice ground to walk around plus plenty of seating to enjoy the sun. We only booked one night but we extended our stay by one more night. (Two in total)
BUT!!
With our Sunday Roast we ordered 2 pints of lime & soda, for this we were charged £14. Considering this is just bubbly water and shot of lime a bit outrageous!!!
This put us off dining at the restaurant on our second night.
