Ideal for our needs in every respect.

Provided a great spot to stay at for our purposes. Twin room beds were huge and very comfortable. Room was very pleasant.

my go to place for a hotel in plymouth

this is usually my go to place to book my parents when visiting me at university, the accessibility is very good here for my disabled mother, the rooms are big and the beds are comfortable and as a plus size woman can hold a good bit of weight on them, the breakfasts were very tasty and very close to a lot of other food and drink places. The room service is quick and runs most hours of the day. The air conditioning is a very nice added bonus too!!

Noisy.

Efficient and friendly check in.

Doors slamming and guests talking in the corridor with V no regard to other guests. Kept awake by this until 01.30 when the last guest retired. lots of noise from the road. Did not eat in the restaurant as b it smelt of a chip shop, with fat and vinegar in the air. I wonder if the extractor fans in the kitchen are there purely for decoration.

Best Travel Inn we have experienced ever and hope there are more around the country.

You know what you are getting, I’d probably stay there again because of the staff and location

Stayed here a few times. The staff are always great, very helpful and friendly. The location is very good, close to the A38 so you don’t have to drive through the city centre etc. The breakfast was decent too.

The rooms. They are very dated and in need of a touch up/refurb. All the carpets are stained (well in each of my stays they have been)

Location was central, very clean and staff were helpful and plenty of free parking and shops in walking distance

Nice but missing critical features

The room was a good size and the beds were a good size and comfortable.

The water pressure in shower was utterly awful and it wasn’t just ours. The WiFi was very slow, TV was old and didn’t have many features or content. The air con didn’t work at all, there weren’t any shampoos / body wash.

It was my second stay in the hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again, should I need to.

Very welcoming on arrival and although I’d arrived earlier than I had informed them, they cheerfully booked me in. I had a very long, tiring journey in bad weather to attend a funeral (the wake was also held there) so appreciated their understanding. The bathroom/ main room was spotlessly clean. Big free car park, deserves a mention.

The first room cards didn’t work, although I had been warned sometimes happens. Noise from slamming doors in the corridor, although not sure how that can be avoided, as heavy doors.

Fantastic stay

Everything the room was a lovely size and the prices were reasonable. Breakfast was great. We had two queen size beds were very comfy. There was a water dispenser for fresh cold water they provide a carve for the water in the room

They need to turn of the out side lights as it confuses the wildlife. The poor little bird thought it was dawn because of the lights that are on at night. I'd like to see a reduction price on the breakfast

The bedding on the bed including pillow cases looked as though they’d never been pressed in fact they looked as though they’d been slept in already. Back of bathroom door needs cleaning, toilet brush, skirting board and corners. The lamp shade over the vanity desk in bedroom had dead flies in it and needs cleaning. To be honest it was the bed linen made the worse impression when you walked into the room. The red cushions on bed were worn and could with replacing. You only get one chance to make a good impression and it wasn’t in the bedroom. Also no one on reception and having to wait.

The bed sagged, needs a new mattress. The pillows were either flat or lumpy. The kettle lid broken and unsafe. The load banging at 6am from a lorry unloading outside was not good

Great Location

The location was amazingly good for us The supermarkets being so close, as well as coffee shops and a gym was a real bonus. The staff were really helpful and professional.

There was a few celebrations going on and they were extremely noisy and rude, their kids were ferrel Not what you want when you're trying to eat.
