Lovely people, lovely stay

The hosts were so friendly, and even offered and changed our room to single beds (rather than a double and single was booked) when I arrived with my two children. Our morning host gave us updates on the ferry, and timings/delays to make sure we got to event on time. Lovely people

A nice guest house in a great location and the hosts were very friendly.

Location was perfect for the football stadium, I also managed to do the local parkrun. Breakfast was nice

Hidden gem of a B&B

Very clean, great breakfast and very friendly staff.

The mattress on the bed felt like it was made up of two smaller mattresses pushed together, you could feel the slight gap between the mattresses.

Didn't get to stay due to booking.com double booking the room

The owners were so helpful. The rooms were lovely. What I saw of the property was clean and tidy.

Booking.com had double booked the room and Alma Lodge had no reference for our stay, so unfortunately I cannot comment on what the accommodation was like. I am still waiting to hear from booking.com to resolve the issue as I am now out of pocket

Very, very friendly, funny and helpfully hosts. Kerry gave us tips for sightseeing every morning, her cute mother Paula tried to learn some German words (and helped my husband with the luggage what we really didn't wanted).

I would have find it better to find different cereals for helping ourselves directly in the breakfast room. We also experienced it differently on our trip: jams, yoghurt, milk and cereals in the breakfast room, and everything else such as a "full English breakfast," porridge, or bread with salmon and a poached egg for example, could be ordered directly in the morning, without needing to specify what time you want to have breakfast. Of course, it’s easier to organise that way, and we can understand that. And to be fair: This is an accommodation with a very attractive price in a great location, and together with the warmhearted hosts, that’s the main thing!

Friendly guest house

The second time we have visited. The owners were super lovely and accommodated an early check-in to attend the festival nearby. The room was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was delicious and we were offered extra toast, coffee etc. Vegetarian sausages were also an added bonus for my partner.

Great friendly place to stay in Plymouth

Great location ten mins on the bus to the city centre. . Lovely hosts Paula and Kerry made us very welcome. Room large ,spotlessly clean with a beautiful view, big comfy bed. Breakfast excellent . We will definitely return when in Plymouth again.

The guesthouse is in a great location, with offstreet parking right next to Central Park. The hosts are both very welcoming and knowledgeable on the area. The breakfast was excellent is commission mark

Great location for what we needed. Great design of the room to include an ensuite. Comfy bed. Very clean. Lovely to have nice pub up the road too. Family weee flexible with breakfast time too, which we appreciated. Great to have parking too.

Perfection and Attentive to Detail .

Alma Lodge was exceptional from the decour , the cleanliness , the attentive and lovely people running the Lodge and the key system was easy , and booking on line was so easy . I cannot speak highly enough of our whole experience oh and I’m a vegetarian and the ladies made me a delicious breakfast at very short notice . We loved it and will definitely be back thank you so much x

Beautiful property run by beautiful people

This property was very homely. The room was exceptional and just what we needed after a long drive and day at work. They were able to provide us with the keys earlier due to work commitments which made our day easier. We were a family of 3, (2 adults and 1 child). Beds were super comfortable, shower facilities were great and had a good variety of coffee/tea. Filled in a breakfast form when we first arrived to pre order and it did not let us down. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely keep this place in mind. The owners (terrible with names) were delightful, very friendly. Happy to have a chat and cater for all our needs. Really happy we chose to stay at alma lodge.
