All facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful.

The rooms were very clean. The bed was very big and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Lovely two night stay with my sister and will definitely stay again.

First and foremost the staff. Attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. Ian on reception was very helpful. The ladies in the White Bar were really nice and friendly too

The quiet....

Although the bed was 2 single beds pushed together and you could feel where they met in the middle.... the bed was relatively comfortable.... you kind of sloped into the middle section and got stuck there

Unlikely to stay again

Hotel is conveniently located for the city centre / Albert Dock, quiet location and an NCP car park very near by with reasonably priced parking. Breakfast was great, vast choice for both continental and traditional English, along with pastries and various breads

Bedroom felt a little tired with holes in curtains, peeling paint on the door and the picture sellotaped into the frame (kept falling out). There was no traditional thermostat for the air con so the room was cold on our first night, when we queried it we were told the thermostat had broken and so a work around of 3 light switches ( on/ off, hot / cold, high fan / low fan) had been installed but there was no sign to indicate this was the control I was notified by my banking app that an attempt was made to take a payment of £36.00 at 02.00, when I queried this at reception i was initially met with blank stares and denial of any attempts on their part until my perseverance was eventually rewarded with Joanna eventually remembering the night clerk had in fact handed this over to her to say they had attempted a payment for an upgrade i did not have but then cancelled it - it took approximately 5 minutes and numerous questions n my part for this to be remembered!

Decent stay for the price, but there are better hotels nearby.

Stayed here for a weekend to watch Everton. Location is good, close to Bramley Moor but also not far from the station and the shops. The room was a good size.

Elements of the hotel are tired. They advertise room service for 24 hours but it stops at 9.30 and there is no food available (thank god for Deliveroo). Bed wasn’t very comfy, no sockets by the bed.

Expected a lot - but room let us down

We paid £274 for a junior suite - it was 2 interconnecting rooms with the doors wedged open with bins - we entered the suite via our room number and couldn't turn the lights on in the bedroom - we had to go to the other entrance and pop another card in that entrance to activate the lights on the other side. The rooms were in much need of a lick of paint - damage everywhere - it really didnt feel like we had paid for an upgrade - we stay in a lot of hotels and we have paid far less for much better quality room. No hair dryer in either side of the room - yet we had 4 irons and ironing boards Breakfast in the morning, no-one to meet us - so we just sat down - no glasses for juice - its only minor things but it stopped this from feeling like a special night away

The Hotel was clean. Staff was polite and friendly. Rooms are massive. The bed was nice and comfortable for me really clean as well. We never ate any food in hotel but what I saw looked lovely. I would really stop here again excellent

We had to park our car 20 mins away in Qpark as the car parks around were not offered at all when trying to book for parking. It wouldn't stop me from staying at the hotel though but a few more closer parking options would be great.

We enjoyed our stay but when we booked, my friend realised that he could only stay 1 night and not the 2 that we had boo

We arrived early from the airport and were relieved that the lady on reception allowed us to check in early. Thank you Inez! Room was clean and spacious. Young man from housekeeping split our bed into 2 singles and provided us with extra pillows.

We would have preferred to have a window in our room that was possible to open for fresh air and not have to rely on the thermostat and pumped air conditioning, especially during sleep at night.

The tv remote had no battery cover,the kettle provided should be placed by the plugs for ease of use.The unit underneath the tv had big empty hole we're a fridge should have ,looked like should have been covered up and there are no electrical sockets to charge phones by the bed.

Solo travelling

Great view of the river. It is a very spacious room at a quiet hotel. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast there's a selection of hot and cold food. I also liked the breakfast area the way this was set out with the art and different areas to sit. Staff were very friendly in all areas and assistance to book transport was no problem. I would recommend this hotel for a visit to Liverpool as it's location is perfect for a city centre shopping or exploring.

I would have preferred more choice at breakfast.

Horrible hotel no character. Nice if you don't care about the look of the room. Staff couldn't careless and no security look on the door because apparently their was a incident and they removed all the door locks. Wouldn't stay there ever again.
