The hotel was in a great location, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
The hotel looked a little tired in places.

Beautiful historic building, the suite with a (small) 4-poster was fun.
Over half of the ground floor wasn’t in use/shut down - it would all benefit from a refresh. The top floor twin was extremely basic and dated (more in a 1980s than 1450’s way!!), at least you don’t get noise up there.
