ibis Genève Aéroport

Ideal for late and early flights from Geneva Airport. Great stay and refreshing after a big days travel. Breakfast was great and staff were helpful. So good we booked another night for our departure from Geneva.

The shuttle times did not quite work for us but managed to catch the local bus part of the way.

Every convenient location to the airport and airport hire car return was a 10 minute walk away. Mini bus was great to the aurport

Menu in restaurant is a bit limited

Clean, tidy and comfortable.

The building and room were clean, comfortable and modern. There was a nice bar where we ordered some food and drinks, and a nice breakfast was included with our stay.

We chose this hotel because it was listed as being a few minutes from the airport. The mountain shuttle dropped us off at the Geneva Airport from our previous hotel in France. Even though we could see the hotel from the airport, it was clear that it would be unsafe if not impossible to walk there due to heavy traffic and no walkways. We called the hotel to see if they could send their airport shuttle to pick us up and they said no, we would have to take a taxi. When we approached the taxi service, the driver refused to take us because the hotel was too close, it wouldn’t be profitable for them. After a lot of stress and anxiety and some good samaritans that helped us, we were able to take a bus that charged us 6 francs to drive us around the corner so we could safely walk to the hotel. When we arrived, there sat the airport shuttle in the parking lot. I’m sure that most of the hotel patrons are foreigners, unfamiliar with the city. Knowing this, I would think the hotel would put the safety of their patrons as a priority and perhaps provide a bit more guidance in arriving there safely.
