The staff was very nice and helpful, and upgraded me to a better room. The rooms are clean and comfortable as long as you're not in the windowless basement. The bus and subway stations are within 2 minutes' walk. It works fine if you're on budget and cannot afford to stay closer to the center.
I originally booked a windowless room in the basement in an attempt to save on the expenses, but this is definitely not worth it. Luckily, I was able to upgrade to a room on the fourth floor, which was a huge improvement. Don't book a room in the basement if you can help it. It's very small, smells bad and too hot (although one can turn on the air conditioning, which worked well). The restaurant is a fast-food place that offers an English-breakfast deal for hotel guests, but had nothing to offer to someone who looks for healthy (vegetarian) options. The neighborhood is rather seedy and not very pleasant to walk around, but the subway and bus stations are very close.

It was a short walk to tube station , bed was very comfortable and a good shower
Bit far away from Central London , breakfast was advertised as 2 sausages , 2 bacon and 2 hash browns which we had 1st morning , 2nd morning we only had 1 of each and had to complain .

Good location, away from the busy centre but good transport.
Very loud air con in the room. Very dated room. Bathroom tap wobbly! No usb socket in the room.
