The location for work.
Restaurant was bad. Lack of staff. Food was overpriced. The hotel was expensive for what it was. My room had no heating and the towel rail wasn't working.

Trip was ok but could have been better - for the price expect better (more modern) facilities.
Room was clean and tidy but would benefit from a more recent refit -decor - not really suitable for business travellers (not applicable to me this trip)
Booked room was set far back in the property via multiple doors and stairs (room 414) upon arriving at the room, key did not work, all the way back to reception for key to be re-coded, only to find the room already occupied. Guess already in situ was gracious about the issue, again 3rd trip back to reception (with luggage) to ask for a different room - no real explanation as to what had occurred (clearly my room from pre-booking had been swapped). Staff on reception assisted with bags back to new room (212) and apologised. Could have been handled better and clearly a process issue occurred with check in as the room was occupied and this should have been noticed. - Check in around 9pm on Tuesday 10th Feb
