Location and food were excellent would definitely recommend to friends and family hope to return for a family visit in future instead of business.

Lovely hard working staff and great food & beer! Restaurant was very understanding of my wife’s food intolerances (chef spent time with her to discuss options).

Carpark can be a bit tricky to enter and to find a space.

Th hotel was ideally situated for the Theatre Royal where we were visiting. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

I turned up by car after a long journey to find I had no parking, so I had to find a place in the town, near the Dog and Partridge. This offered free parking until 8pm the next day. I walked to the car park early, before breakfast, to retrieve the car before the deadline, drove it back to the D&P, only to find that the car park was still full, so I set off again in the car and found a street with free parking until 9am. I left the car there, and walked back for a shower and breakfast. All this being said, on my second day at the D&P I did find a place in the small car park at the D&P, which was a relief. If other guests have had the same problem, perhaps you should devise a car park booking form to allow guest-parking at the D&P, even though this means that guests will need to sharpen up the times when they will specifically require parking. Beyond this groan, I was very happy with my stay at the D&P.
