This was a quick one night stay. Comfy room. Nice towels. Clean. We were going to a gig in Gosforth so the bus stop outside was very convenient. Plenty of places to eat around.
Parking is tricky. We managed to find street parking as it doesn't apply after 6 and on Sunday- but it's very restricted otherwise. Hotel's parking is limited.

Staff on check in were helpful and freindly and the location was pretty good for getting into the city centre.
Parking was a little haphazard. There are a limited number of spaces which is made clear upon booking. However, in most of the bays your are either blocked in by another car or you block someone else in. This resulted in a 7am call one morning to move our car for someone else. Of course we were happy to do so but do not think you can just park up and forget about driving for the rest of your trip. On the flip side, don't think you can use your car at your convenience if you end up being blocked in. The general cleanliness, specifically in the bathroom was not up to standard, the seal on the shower screen was quite yellow/brown and there was some mould around all the sealant. The silver cover for the bath plug was loose and would come off with each use.
