Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus

Great breakfast

A wonderful hotel. The bed is comfortable, the bed linen is lovely, and there is a choice of pillows. The rooms are newly renovated, with a well-stocked minibar and good-quality tea. There was also an iron in the room. There were no bathrobes, but I’m sure they would be provided on request. I would especially like to highlight the quality of the food. Everything we had at breakfast and in the restaurants was really fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the Greek salad at Arlo restaurant—it is a pleasure both to look at and to eat, with an elegant and unusual presentation. The staff are polite and attentive. Thank you to the reception team, especially the manager whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. He was very courteous. Thank you also to Göktuğ for giving us such a warm send-off, as though we were family. Special thanks to Aren Sucuyan and Ismail Dilber from the front office management team for their care and attention when I had a minor health-related incident. It is in moments like these that you discover the true quality of a hotel’s service and feel safe and well looked after. That matters, especially when you are in another country. The restaurants, bar and lounge area are beautiful. Overall, there is very little to fault unless you are determined to find something.

My only disappointment was the hairdryer. I had quietly hoped there would be a professional one in the room—then I would always stay here and wouldn’t have to bring my own. But that little miracle didn’t happen. It is a standard hotel hairdryer: fine for drying your hair, but not for styling it. Ladies, bear that in mind. However, the hotel also has a beauty salon, so you can have your hair styled there!

Excellent

Rooms and food

The location is excellent, the room was nice, the design of the hotel is great, and breakfast was good.

Housekeeping. I repeatedly asked for things which werent done. For example, i left a note for changing the bedding, but it didnt happen. I asked the staff to empty the minibar because my toddler was always trying to get those, they didnt do it for 7 nights i was there. I left a note to pick up my toddler's toys which were everywhere around the room, but they didnt do it.
