We were absolutely thrilled by the warmth and the joyful experience of the Fox Hotel, there's an atmosphere that almost make you feel at home, i visit Istanbul in a regular basis, i m sure i know where to stay the next time. Not forgetting the very kind and helpfull "Moreno", "Najmeddine" and a succulent Manager "Bushra" who has been very helpful letting us keep our luggage at the Hotel without any charge for a few days, and had the courtesy to offering us a discount in the third night. Wonderful pet-friendly hotel close to Taksim Square. We only spent one night, but the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Additionally, the Turkish breakfast served in the morning was perfect.

As a couple, we were extremely DISAPPOINTED with our stay at the Fox Hotel: • We booked a standard room with a city view, but the view we received was nothing like the pictures. The actual view was shocking. • When we complained about the room, the staff promised to move us to a different one, but despite asking every day, we were told the hotel was fully booked and no changes were made. • The hotel's location is poor. It's in a common neighborhood on a difficult-to-access hill, whether by foot or car. There are no worthwhile restaurants or coffee shops nearby, and all the interesting tourist spots are too far to walk. We felt uncomfortable crossing the streets to reach the hotel at night. This was the worst hotel experience we've had, both in Turkey and elsewhere. It doesn't even qualify as a hotel—it's more like a guest house and definitely not worth the money. My recommendation: Do not book this hotel.
