Located on the Piazza Fontana, just around the corner from the Duomo in Milan's historic center, the Rosa Grand Hotel in Milan is a the ideal place to stay. Completely modern and stylish the hotel offers hotel rooms and apartments. Our family rented two bedroom apartments which came with sitting rooms and kitchen as well as their own 24 hour concierge and light buffet for breakfast, lunch and apéritif. They were well appointed and extremely comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, assisting us with recommendations for dining and reservations. While it may not be "grand" in the traditional sense it felt more like a luxurious boutique hotel ideal for exploring the attractions and shopping in the historic center without breaking the bank!
One of the only downsides of every hotel in Milan's lively historic center is street noise from bars and cafe's, but as the hotel is climate controlled we kept our windows closed and it was not too much of a problem.

Asked for a late check out and got refused even though the first day arrived at 3AM
