    The location of this Ibis was great for travelling around and about Palermo. Opposite the port, the view from the restaurant/bar was great. The staff were extremely helpful, particularly Ivana on reception. Whilst the room and bathroom were a decent size, the decor definitely needs upgrading. Ibis is not luxury, but has a standard that it didn’t quite meet. It does say that renovation is taking place, so… Single beds have a too firm mattress with no toppers, and the pillows were more like bolsters! The breakfast spread was pretty good however and plentiful. Overall I would stay again - and would recommend it for short stays.
