B&B Benincasa

Very large room and in good condition Host was extremely helpful and responsive

Nothing

Sandro the Manager is fabulous Great location

Breakfast is not good for a 4 star residence 1 room has requirement to put toilet paper in a side bin

Location was ok, was clean , thoughtful touches like coffee machine and biscuits

Bed was basic as was bedding , there was a problem with plumbing so woken 4am with water pump hammering throughout building and didn’t have hot water that morning

We liked the location, the common area, although we did not use it much and the small kitchenette in the corner of our unit. The closet was also an added bonus.

There was nowhere to open our suitcases and for someone in her 70s with arthritis working off the floor was difficult. The bedding on my bed in particular was very thin, there was no mattress cover, and the bottom sheet was not fitted, so did not stay tucked in at night. When I woke up, whether it was in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or in the morning, if I slept straight through, the bedding was in shambles, and I was sleeping on a bar mattress with the bedding, falling off the sides of the bed. Having only one pillow was also an issue, as those of us who are older with joint problems often use a second pillow to support our back or hips during sleep. The other issue was the breakfast provided. Both my roommate and I are on low-carb diets and there was nothing in the breakfast that really provided us with any protein or fruit. On one occasion in particular, the pastries provided were so burnt that we did not eat them. Most days my roommate was not able to eat anything that was provided and we had to make sure to keep some fruit and meat in the fridge so we could have a decent breakfast before we left for the day. I don’t think you should advertise it as breakfast provided as that is a misleading statement.
