It's a beautiful castle and the staff were amazingly helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety as well as a-la-carte options.
Dinner in the restaurant is very expensive and the menu is limited so for a longer stay, you may need to head into town

Staying here was like staying in a museum. It was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were over the top friendly and considerate. This was our best stay in all of Germany.

Beautiful property
Managed terribly. Upon arrival we were modified we couldn’t use the restaurant as it was full for reservations. This was not true it was booked for a private event. So we had no dinner option except the patio and bar menu which meant burgers essentially and dining on a tiny terrace surrounded by smokers. There is no AC in the too
A even though they advertise there is so you had electric fans. Also there are no dark curtains. So. Can’t sleep at midnight as the room is boiling hot and can’t sleep as you have fans blowing in your face out so you aren’t in a pool of sweat compounded by your room being so bright you can’t sleep past 6 am. Also the internet is non existent in the rooms. I called down for help and was told they could change my room but my 5 yr old was already sleeping. They knew the room had no wifi or AC obviously but seems they chose To put us there why? I had even offered
To pay for an upgrade at check in. Just poorly managed in every way this hotel.
