The smell of fried food all the time in the building, no kettle in the room, small bathroom, no fridge in the single rooms, the lobby sitting area not big enough just one area, two out of 3 machines in the gym don’t work

Great place to stay and enjoy the Oberursel area and Taunus mountains.

The Park Hotel is very close to a U-Bahn station. We were former ex-pats who were visiting Oberursel to see friends and our former town/school. Park Hotel was a great value for our purposes.

Like most European lodging, it was not air conditioned and the weather was really hot while we were there. Since our rooms were across the hall from each other, though, we were able to get a cross breeze and cool the rooms in the evening.

Relaxing and comfortable

We enjoyed everything about Parkhotel am Taunus. The staff was friendly and helpful, the property was immaculate, inside and out. Breakfast was delicious! The breakfast staff kept all areas stocked and clean, brought specialty coffee and were cheerful and hospitable. We very much enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the garden. My daughter had an important test at the International School, which was walking distance AND SAFE. That was our priority for this stay, to have her well rested and relaxed.

The sounds of the UBahn ALL NIGHT were very disruptive, but I dont blame the hotel for where the station is located or how the train is maintained. Overall we did enjoy our stay, very much.

The room was very spacious and also very clean.

Breakfast had very limited hot food but everything else was very well presented and fresh with plenty of choice. The rooms weren’t made up once throughout our stay which was disappointing and we ran out of toilet paper! I asked reception to borrow a clothes iron and they didn’t have one which I thought unusual.

I was only staying for one night. The morning I was checking out, there was a bike race, and my hotel was part of the route, so that between 8:00-14:00, it would be impossible to leave. But staff didn't tell me this when I checked in, and if a friend hadn't informed me, I would have been trapped at the hotel and missed my flight when I tried to check out at the regular checkout time later in the morning. I would have appreciated knowing this when I made the reservation.

Great location, nice people, tasty breakfast, but very old hotel that needs significant updates.

The people working at the hotel were very nice. The breakfast was also quite good. And the location was convenient given the proximity to the international school and tram.

The bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed that I have ever slept on. Hard but flimsy at the same time with no mattress cover so it felt as though I was sleeping on plastic. The rooms have to receive an update as they are very unattractive. The TV is extremely old too.

This hotel has a superb breakfast. It is beautifully presented and the choices are amazing. The staff were very prompt to ask what was my morning drink…coffee, tea as I arrived in the dining room.

Nothing! I have stayed at this hotel many times and always the staff, service and hotel ambience is wonderful.

Very nice hotel at a good price in a beautiful location.

Clean and very well appointed hotel. The staff was helpful. Facilities are good and the location is very good at the edge of the forest with access to the tram line into the town and Frankfurt just outside the front door.

Great location close to the Feldberg for hikes and easy access to Frankfurt on the street car (35min). The breakfast is fantastic. We had a comfort room facing the park in the back of the building with a balcony.
