Second home

We were in this hotel with my family eight years ago. It was already close to our hearts and now my husband and I have returned. Everything has remained the same but it is getting better. New dining room, richer breakfast, really pleasant, homely atmosphere. I feel at home here. It is close to the city but in a peaceful, quiet environment. Everything is so very nice and homely.

A really quite lovely place to stay.

Personable and friendly staff who were always helpful. Quiet location (in a village) and only 15 minutes on the bus to Salzburg centre. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Lovely breakfast, super comfortable bed, spacious spa area with 4 different spa types and areas to relax. Absolutely spotlessly clean, the owners (family owned) obviously take a great deal of pride in making sure everything is perfect for their guests. Great place to stay, would highly recommend.

Loved this hotel!

Beautiful property, very comfortable room and beds. Close to Salzburg with a rental car, this hotel was perfect for our family trip. We had to rent two rooms but they were in a corner with a closed door foyer so it was perfect for a large family. Wonderful breakfast! I’d love to stay here again!

Good option for a stay in Salzburg

Great location, far from the busy city, quiet, but still easily accessible by bus, Uber or personal car. Staff was amazing, always careful towards the guests. Room was fantastic, large terrace where you can see the mountains and listen to the birds outside. Large parking for personal cars.

Breakfast had enough options, but most of the food is store-bought from Billa, they could provide and cook some more local, home-made products.

A very cosy, friendly, and efficient hotel.

it was just as good as the description if not better - it has a typical traditional Austrian cosy feeling and the whole place looked very well maintained. When we arrived we were given a really friendly welcome and all our questions were answered included the best places to get dinner. Our room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of everything and again friendly and efficient service from everyone. We loved everything about this hotel.

A lovely hotel, very welcoming and relaxing.

The hotel was very well situated for us, a drive into Salzburg in our hired car while staying in a quiet location. No restaurant but pizza provided one evening when we didn’t want to go out. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The lake was lovely and a real bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff.

I understood there would be a bus from outside the hotel directly into Salzburg, this was not the case, maybe it went with the pandemic. We were happy to drive but maybe it could be included on the website the various options of getting into Salzburg
