Beautiful boutique spa hotel

This was such a beautiful boutique hotel. The bar and restaurant area were warm and inviting, and the spa was stunning.

It was a little remote from Salzburg and required a 30 minute bus ride

For a one night stay it was ok, only the room was a disappointment in terms of value for money.

Breakfast was good

Room very overpriced for quality of amenities. Was clean but I expected more from the layout and design of other rooms I have had previously at the hotel. The room needed remodelling in my opinion. It felt a little tired.

Did not catch a weekend with DJ at this hotel so will have to come back to experience it as well.

This is a beautiful hotel in Wals (right next to Salzburg). The hotel has a romantic atmosphere, sometimes you know you are in Europe but sometimes you feel you are somewhere in Thailand or similar. There are 3 swimming pools (1 outside in the garden area, 1 inside in the spa area and 1 at 3rd floor with the heated water, mountain view and chill music.) Nice breakfast, good choice of fruits, fish and meat, cheeses. A comfy bed (they provide you with 2 separate blankets). You can take a bicycle and ride it around the area (we went for a swim to the nearest lake). The pool at 3rd floor (View Club) is awesome.

The room was smaller than expected and also quite old in some places (e.g. the bathroom door). Cleaning of the room: we never got a refill of coffee sachets and stuff like cotton buds so had to go to the reception. The View club is used not only by hotel guests but also by people from outside and very often they book the sun beds. Even staying in the hotel does not help you and if you want the sun bed to be guaranteed you need to pay extra 30 euro per person per day. But if you don't get to the beds you still have a lot of chairs, beds inside, one floor higher, etc.

Excellent facilities, fantastic pools, friendly staff and lovely relaxing rooms.

Not enough parking on hard standing. The extended rear car park is on gravel/stones not ideal for wheeling suitcases over.

Nice Spa if you also like party (in the summer)

Modern spa area with cozy quiet zones, the sauna is nice, great rooftop pool with bar, nice restaurant, great food, clean rooms, nice staff On weekends, there is a DJ playing party music in the pool - great if you want to party in a modern Boho-style resort, but very surprising if you expect a quiet spa weekend ;)

On summer weekends, it’s a party place on the weekend not a relaxing spa! That was fine for us but we didn’t expect it - felt a bit like spring break for adults. There were also 3 bachelorette Parties. In the quiet zones at the spa, you still heard the DJ and screaming party people loudly. You can use the Spa area/Viewclub before check-in for additional 30€, but this only includes a towel and no bathrobe/spa bag, which was not ideal (spa bag was in the room later). All of the larger outdoor loungers were reserved but nobody showed up. Indoor loungers were mostly occupied as well.

Great experience

The hotel is wonderfull and very modern. The furniture and the details are lovely. The hotel has 3 pools out of which 2 heated and two saunas. The top floor sauna is great, very spacious and with big windows. All the decor and furniture is in very good taste, it does feel like 5 stars. The owner is incredibly nice and helps around the staff, even talks with the visitors and asks about their stay. I'm sorry I didn't get to tell him I don't speak German and I probably seemed a bit rude when he was talking to us about our day 😂 All in all great experience, well worth the money.

The room in which we stayed was unfortunately very small and the bed mattress a bit too soft for my back. If you do go there, just pay a bit more to get the bigger rooms with the view. Trust me on this one!

The setting, the rooms, the decor, the breakfast, the view, everything was amazing. Really enjoyed my stay here.

It's not a dislike but I didn't get to see the view club, I wasn't fully aware it was a different space to the pool area and didn't get to visit it. But il be back and will check it out again.

Exceptional

Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The SPA area provides a lot of relaxing options and the restaurant offers nice breakfast/suppers. The room was clean and warm with easy access to the SPA area.

The room has only one mirror and only a small electric kettle. The shower area was clean but the shower hose looks old and сoated. And I think "View Club" guests deserve a reserved parking spot.
