Lovely stay.

The hotel was light, bright, clean and well staffed. The staff were friendly, helpful, very professional and very patient with our French which they allowed us to use! The room was clean and very comfortable. Great location and parking. Having always avoided large corporate hotels and chosen Logis de France instead, we are pleased to say we are now brand new fans of Novotel!

We thought maybe it was a little bit overpriced but enjoyed the little extras that were provided. The dinner was pleasant enough but after spending a day travelling and with the prospect of another ahead of us we weren’t out for a fancy dinner and would have preferred to find something a little more simple on the menu. That said, we enjoyed what we had.

Nice hotel but being dog friendly should not apply to public areas

Breakfast ok - but, although we appreciate that the hotel is dog friendly, we didn’t appreciate being sat between 2 of our canine friends whilst eating. Not hygienic.

Ate in restaurant for evening meal and, again, dog sat next to our table (in quite empty restaurant) whilst we’re eating. Questioning hygiene..

Poor service seems nobody cares.

Locality

Restaurant. Went in to have an evening meal at 7pm but told they couldn’t let us have a table until 8pm but the restaurant was empty. So we decided to eat elsewhere and were back by 8pm and the restaurant wasn’t busy? Obviously they wanted an easy night. Breakfast was also entertaining the waiter was more interested in playing with his hair and looking good than the customers. There was no bread no bacon no orange marmalade no decaf coffee so in the end we just decided not to bother. Nobody was welcoming guests or taking room number so you have no idea who is having breakfast.

Slightly disappointing short stay

Nice room

We were told on-site that the swimming pool only opens from 10th of May. This was not mentioned on the bookingssite and was very disappointing for the children. Staff not very flexible in simple things, asking for a different sauce with the order as an example. Was on the menu for another plate but immediate No and few other examples, food not great either.

Great stopover on our road trip from Paris south and just a 5 minute drive into beautiful Orleans and the Novotel staff

Great pool area and restaurant with easy parking Bakery and pizza shops a short walk away.

Couldn’t fault - lack of English tv channels but wifi was good

Very pleasant place to stay

Perfect stop for a night or for a couple of nights. We booked an accessible room. Found it a little small but did the job. Good was very nice and staff really helpful and friendly. We were offered free parking on site.

Really nice little hotel.

The hotel itself was nice and modern, fresh and well kept, secured with a perimeter fence and barrier entry, which was great as I had 4 bikes on my car left overnight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very tasty if not a little pricy. Breakfast was great, there was a huge selection. There was a bouncy castle for the kids close by to the pool, which itself looked inviting. The room was pleasant and the beds were super comfortable.

I didn't have any problems, if I was being picky, the gross in the shower was a bit mouldy... That is all.

My room had an electricity problem, had to change rooms. No assistance, not even an offer to help. Very weak water jet in shower In the middle of the night there were very loud road constructions right in front of the hotel; no warning upfront from the hotel

Disappointing

We traveled with children and booked the hotel solely because there was heated pool in the hotel description. On arrival it turned out the pool is closed and was already closed at the time of booking. Huge disappointment for the children. Furthermore, no discount or other solutions were offered. Don't advertise with things that you don't have!
