Location, having nobody at the reception when we arrived, had to take care of checking in and finding the correct building where our rooms were. Parking area not closed as mentioned on the site. Will never go back

We had a room on the main floor and it smelt musty and damp. Also, the room was very small. My daughter’s bed was squeezed into an alcove next to the main bed. It was so small that she kept hitting the walls with her knees during the night. The bathroom was also very tight. Glad we were there only one night.

The bed was comfy
We liked the site restaurant.
The wifi did not work.
The hotel is not near to shops and so the only place to eat is the site restaurant.

The hotel is simple and clean. A little run down in places but nothing short of fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. we were provided with towels but no soap.
The photos make it look a lot nicer than it actually is. Generally it’s a bit run down. Unfortunately, in our case we had a really poor stay. There was constant rattling coming from the water pipes and the bedroom vents, loud enough to require earplugs. In our particular case, not even earplugs could prevent us from hearing what went on for hours in the room next door, we don’t know if it was porn or sex work but the loud and exaggerated sex screams (and skin slapping) kept us up all night (not the hotel fault of course but really made our stay miserable). The most disconcerting thing however happened early in the morning when someone repeatedly tried to get into our room in spite of us shouting “wrong room” in multiple languages. It left us very on edge and we decided to leave right after to just get out. The lack of visible staff did not help, since the hotel is in a rather isolated area.

Clean, functional, very quiet.
The experience was a bit clinical, as it was a fully automated check-in process.
5.0 / 10.0
quite cheap compared to other hotels
we asked to change to have a room downstairs, probably the wrong move, as rooms were smelly (mould/moisture), shower was as wet room and were very outdated and worn off, not pleasant for our standard. the location—too many “dodgy “ people…not to our standards

price, cleanliness, super comfy bed
spider webs in my room, toilet water yellow which looked a bit gross, check in was complicated as my code didn’t work for the front door and nobody was there to ask. location not close to anything

Not much
The non smoking room stank of cigarettes. The staff were clearly aware as they let the window open.
All you could smell was smoke, very guest was either hanging out there window smoking or in their room chuffing away into the ventilation.
Not for the non smoker

Beds ok
The shower overflowed all over the bathroom and into the bedroom after being on for a couple of minutes, inside the plughole was filthy and under bed bunk bed looked like it hadn't been swept or moped for weeks

The staff was super friendly, the hotel's location is really very nice, and the pool was absolutly the right place to be with young children and the heat wave we had. Lot's of activities around so super easy to use it as a basis for touring Aksace!
Beds could be a little more comfy, but for the rest everything was great!

The family room was small and cosy. The beds were comfortable. It was a good one night stay for a family. Everything was clean.

it was a bed for the night on way to eurocamp, and that is catered for a family. it felt safe as everything was key coded. there was a nice place down the road that was perfect to eat at as property restaurant was not open.
you couldn’t check in properly it was all by computer system and paying when you get there.
didn’t like that there was no where to eat till like 7.30pm at the hotel would be better if had a small cafe that catered for people passing through even if it was just a light menu eg sandwiches as family’s travelling though need to feed little ones.
we did find a place down the road a little pattisary place that sold fish and chips and stuff and was open till 8pm which was perfect but had to use Wi-Fi to find it so maybe hotel working in conjunction with that place would be great for both businesses.
put a map in room to show how to get to local places eg pattisary down the road, aldi and other things for people to see

We were only travelling through France at short notice to get to Calais and this was a good stop off location for us. The hotel was more than we'd liked to have paid but France is always expensive!!! Our room had a double bed and 2 single beds!!! It was very cramped ...... they obviously only had a family room available!!! Bathroom was small but overall, everything was clean.
