Location to the Notre Dame Cathedral is absolutely fabulous! You can view the Notre Dame Cathedral from your hotel window (if you have a room facing the cathedral). The cathedral is magnificent to behold especially at night with the lights on.
Everything in the hotel is a bit "old" and "ancient"; however, the shower facilities are fine. The toilet flushing is problematical but we were able to figure it out. It is nice to have a continental breakfast option so that if you are in a hurry, you can get a very nice continental breakfast without having to leave the hotel. Continental breakfast is extra $$ additional to the hotel room rate.

Location was great. Right next to where all the good stuff is. Quiet room given the busy location. Can get Uber in 2 minutes at the front door
Staff pleasant but not forwardly helpful. Toilets need to be flushed like starting a lawn mower.

The location was amazing for access to Notre Dame, The Seine and local amenities. Our room was on the top floor and felt very private. It was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and tolerated our attempts to speak French with good humour and patience.
This isn’t a criticism but something to consider. The location is extremely central and could be very noisy at times both during the day and night. The hotel is located on a junction with lots of traffic and people passing by. There are night clubs close by too. This made it very lively which could be lovely but not so much at 3 in the morning. We were there in August though, so at the height of the summer season.
