    This hotel is so lovely and so full of character! The staff were all so friendly and the view of Notre Dame was amazing. The location was perfect and allowed us so much freedom and ease. I would definitely go back there!

    Described as rustic the hotel decor is old, threadbare and scruffy. The carpet in my tiny room had stains on it, likewise the bedspread,, the toilet bowl, underside of the toilet seat and bathroom floor and walls. The bedroom wallpaper was also scruffy, threadbare and dirty. On a positive the mattress appeared new, was clean likewise the sheets and the location of the hotel was excellent

    On a two night stay I encounter bed bugs both in room 9 and room 12, in different wings and different floors. Though the caretaker kindly helped me launder my clothes, I must discourage travelers strongly from visiting this hotel.
