I always miss a kettle in the room but that’s normal for France

The staff were so helpful and kind and the breakfast was great. The room is clean and for a simple beach stay, it’s perfect. The location is unbelievable- seconds from the beach, under 20 minute walk to the town centre and the same to the train station. I would absolutely stay again!!
The place could do with an update- the shower worked and the water pressure was incredible, but it was broken. The decor is looking a little sad and dated. It’s mostly cosmetic but it would make a difference. The photos on the booking site seem very old so it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, which is a shame because when I settled in I had a beautiful stay.

The Location was oké.
The room from 1991......a bad experience
Room 308 "The family room" felt like i stept into the year 1991....and exept for the sheets and the towels i doubt it had a good cleaning since 1991.......what a dissapointment.
First off all.. In your advertisement on Booking.com…do not use a picture of the hotel from 2014 and then say it is the same...it is not!! Be honest and use a picture of 2025...then we can see that the hotel needs a really good paintjob....
The lobby and the diningroom are good but when we stept up the stairs it was like we went back in time a year by every step we took..and we where on the 3th floor....so we came in room 308 and were back in 1991..wauw, that felt like a real dissapointment for the money we had paid.
Dust, dust, dust...on the walls? really?
A bathroom door which not fits....a crack in the door that is so wide that dust, dust, dust fills it up.
The bathroom...moldy seling, moldy window, plastic walls in the wet area which do not
fit....floortiles are loose, the toiletseat is loose, the plasic walls behind the toilet is
gone...bloodstains on the wall next to the sink.
New sink does not fit with the old sink. A cupboard in the livingroom that is broke.
I could go on and on but you get the picture...we were lucky to stay only two nights....onfortunaly
we did overpay for this stay.

Lovely period property a stones throw from the seafront.
Rustic charm of a bygone era. A little disheveled but that adds to the appeal for us. Secure parking available round the back for our motorcycle. Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Close to the beach, very big bathroom, free parking in front of the hotel

We came second time to Fecamp and also booked the same hotel second time, because location is perfect, just 1-2 min to the beach, rooms size is good, rooms are equipped. Both times we visited in autumn, rooms are warm and nice. We found parking spot just in from of the hotel, very convenient. Person who met us both times were nice and helpful. Very clean rooms. Really nice experience. This time we even got upgrade and ended up with nice room with ocean view and bathroom with a window to it.
I see some visitors mentioned, that hotel is outdated, but to me that is a charm of this hotel - it is more authentic in this way and I would visit hotel again only because of this style (plus, it is very clean, so it is not that rooms are not taken care of).

Location close to beachfront and plenty of free street parking. More of a quieter seaside feel than nearby Etretat and Le Havre. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is value for money.
We knew the hotel didn’t have air conditioning on a hot day and a fan kept us cool.

Good hotel to stay with beach view. Room and bathroom is big and spacious. Just in front of beach.
Very old hotel. TV, wifi doesn't work. No fridge in room. After complaining about the WIFI connection issue got the response "It is strange. It should work" but not bothered to fix it. Except the fact that it is just in front of the beach this hotel doesn't have any other positive thing.

location
It was dirty, dark, in need of decoration, bathroom smelt of sewage, room was not cleaned, very hot, towels were tiny. The staircase handrails were sticky with dirt. Just awful.

Good location. Comfortable. Great shower!
A problem with breakfast but we’ll put it down to a bad day!

Helpful receptionist. Roomy room with good views. Basic breakfast facilities. Overall good enough for a budget hotel.
Room card erased by phone being in same pocket (need to update room entry technology)and then had to sit and wait in reception for 2 hours as it was closed in the afternoons.
To be fair though I was offered a free breakfast by way of an apology which I thought was a nice gesture.

We loved the location, it's within a walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. There is a pretty big parking lot very close to the property, so you don’t need to spend time driving around looking for a place to park. The parking is free. We chose to stay in Fecamp for two nights instead of moving to Etretat for the second day - and we were very happy we did it! Money wise, Fecamp is cheaper, and Etretat is so close driving wasn't a problem even after a long day of walking. So if you are on a road trip like we were - it's absolutely worth staying there for two nights.
There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs. The breakfast need to be arranged in advance, and it's better to do so straight away (until 8pm) otherwise you would be left without it since there are no places around that would be open before 11 am. We didn't order the breakfast for the second day (because we were off to Etretat - which is super close if you are driving) but the person at the desk let us have breakfast anyway. Breakfast is good (no fried or boiled eggs, but sufficient)

Close to beach!
A bit simple. Only bathtub in room!

I liked the cheerful red decor in this old fashioned hotel. It had a newly renovated bathroom. It was close to the beach and right on the route of the GR21 so leaving town on the morning was simple. It was value for money.
Nothing to dislike.

the property is very close to the beach/ front.
no kettle in my room, no blinds, with it being on the front, motor bikes screaming past at all hours. the was a bath and a shower, the shower was terrible, no shower curtain or door, water would go everywhere.

Room on the last floor with nice view on the sea(but hotel is not in first line). In summer it might be hot, but in May it was fine. Room was big, bathroom was big with bathtub and window.
Receptionist spoke English very good and was very friendly.
No sausages and eggs for breakfast (but it seems to be standard in France). Stairs - for us those were fine, but be prepared - no elevator..
Parking was free on the street but you never know if you'll find place. But I think for extra pay they have private places.
No duvets, just sheets and blankets.
